My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Vanished in the Mountains. This is an awesome book. All my readers know that Human Trafficking is very much on my heart so of course this book touched me. It's well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Domestic Violence Counselor Ducie Parker (an abuse survivor) enters her living room to find an envelope slid under her door. 'Mind your own business or you'll become the next missing one' Threats are a part of her job but this one is different. The missing ones is a name a Navajo woman called the girls that are disappearing in her area. She had been asking questions to find out how many were missing. She called the one man she felt she could trust and leaves a message.
Deputy Sheriff Austin Turner is a widower that is convinced he could have done more for his wife and child. There had to be a way he could have saved them. Dulcie is a woman on the edge, a woman he wants to stay away from but he gets a message from her. She sounded terrified. Before he can answer her messages she shows up at his office. Can he help her? Can they work together to find this crime ring before she also disappears?
A terrifying journey to find a human trafficking ring before the girls are sent all over the world. God has a plan for these two broken souls: a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction even in a time of chaos. Trust Him and watch Him work in your life.
