My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Hours to Kill. This is book three in the series Homeland Heroes. Susan's books are always awesome intrigues. This one is well written, action packed, and full of surprises. I know you are going to love it.
FBI Special Agent Addison Leigh is in the midst of an investigation. She finally seems to be making some headway when she receives a video of her mother; tied up, gagged, and at knife point. The message is 'back off.' She rescues her mother and her nurse and puts them into a safe place. She finds a file on her computer that holds the answer to her investigation. She runs out of the office. She's on her way back to the office with the answer. She was once on an elite task force (RED Team) until her marriage fell apart. She sends a message to her estranged husband asking for their help. She's run off the road and suffers a traumatic head injury.
US Deputy Marshal Mack Jordan was in an investigation when he gets a message his wife was in an accident and is in the hospital. She had left a message that she wanted help from him and the RED team. When he arrives she is awake but doesn't remember him or their marriage. She doesn't remember anything about the case. He's determined to protect her and find the answers.
A terrifying journey against time as they try to keep the crime lord from killing hundreds of people. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction even in this time of chaos.
