My review today is on the Historical Christian Romance, Just in Time For Christmas. This is A High-Country Christmas Novella. This is a delightful story, I enjoyed every minute of it. The story is humorous, well written, and heartwarming I know you are going to love it.
Abigale Millerton returned home after the death of her grandfather. She had been sent to Denver to school. She has no intention of returning to Denver. The live stock has been sold except for a couple broken down horses no one wanted, a dry cow, and her old dog. Abigale is determined to fix the roof of the barn. She has enough hay to feed the animals if she can keep the snow out of the hay loft. She doesn't have a ladder so she pounds pieces of wood up the side of the barn. A storm comes up and she is high up the barn when lightening strikes close by; she falls off and is knocked unconscious as snow begins to fall.
Seth Holt is riding close to the Millerton place when a storm hits, a thundersnow. He rides to the old barn for shelter. He's thinking about Abigale, she had been at the funeral but he hadn't talked to her. He had to protect his heart. Chester, Abigale's dog shows up and wont leave him alone until he follows him. There he finds a lump in the snow, Abigale. He carries her into the house and takes care of her.
As they are snowed in together their childhood friendship takes on new meaning. Each are trying to keep their feelings to themselves for fear of the other one not returning their love. God has a plan for these two stubborn people. A plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life
Thank you for your review, Glenda. I'm glad you enjoyed Just in Time for Christmas.
