My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Dead End. This is the third book in A Truth Seekers Series. I was thrilled when this book was sent to me. I had seen it on Susan's blog and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I don't know where she comes up with her stories but each one seems better than the last. This book is well written, action packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love this one. Now I can't wait for the next one. Sad huh?
Veritas Center's Forensic Trace Evidence Expert Sierra Byrd has just learned that the man who has been her father all her life is not her father at all. It was a traumatic event to find your family has lied to you all your life. She takes off to find her biological father. When she arrives she finds no one at his cottage and goes to his office but finds he has been missing for a month. The mayor opens the door for her. She's looking around when she is arrested by an FBI agent who happened to see her in his crime scene. He contacts Viritas Center and they tell him she is who she says she is. Her team is angry to see her in hand cuffs and show up in full force.
FBI Agent Reed Rice is investigating Eddie Barnes. He is believed to have embezzled a quarter million dollars from his clients. When Sierra shows up he believes she might be in league with the man. He soon finds out that something more is going on. The Veritas team shows up. Sierra finds evidence that his team has missed. So he hires them to help with the case as Sierra's life becomes at risk. Can he keep her safe? She is everything he wants in a mate but she wants no part of love and marriage. Can he change her mind?
A journey to discover who is out to destroy the investigation. There is obviously more going on than a simple embezzlement as bodies start to pile up. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. You may not have a cold blooded killer after you but you do have an enemy that wants to steal, kill, and destroy you. Give God the right to get involved in your life and watch Him rescue you.
