My review today is on the suspense, Winter's Rise. This book is the fourth book in the Winter Black Series. As I have told you with each of these books it's not a Christian book. There is foul language; just so you know. I really liked this book. There is a lot of violence and that's hard to read especially when dealing with serial killers. The story is well written, action packed and full of suspense. I know you will want to read it.
FBI Agent Winter Black has taken a leave of absence. The killer she has been after since she was thirteen has been killed, her grandfather that raised her is unwell, and she finds out that her dead brother is alive. The team notify her that they have a lead on her brother. She returns but isn't the same person. She has her team worried. She must deal with the people she really doesn't want to deal with. They soon find a dead body that is unlike any body they have found before. What kind of killer are they dealing with? The body was is a fifty gallon drum filled with lye. It has been autopsied and the brain removed. The killer must be a surgeon.
A journey of a serial killer that is out to find supernatural powers from people with head trauma as a child. Collateral damage is not a problem with this killer.
