My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Inherited Threat. This is a great read and I know you are going to love it. Jane does a great job in writing suspense stories. This one is well written, action packed and full of faith.
Injured US Army Ranger Laurel Landry and her dog Sammy are here medical leave. She is going through her estranged mother's things. Bernice was murdered last week. In her storage unit she finds a to go bag her mother always kept. In it she finds a picture of two children, Jake and Shelley, a newspaper article about S&J Security/Protection Agency, a ledger in some form of code, named Collective, and several packets of hundred dollar bills. What was her mom doing with information on a group of organized crime families. What was her mother into? She is attacked at the unit but manages to cuff the man to his car and calls then police then took off. She contacted S&J (hoping they might be her siblings) and told them what is going on. The are sending an ex-Ranger to help her.
Ex-Ranger S&J Operative Mace Ransom comes to meet their new client armed to the teeth and ready to tango. As he meets her and she explains what is going on; two men pulled up with guns in hand. They manage to subdue them and leave then for S&J to take care of. Mace is attracted to this amazing woman. He will protect her with his life.
A horrific journey to stay ahead of this crime syndicate that seemed to have unlimited resources and reaches into the high ranks of the nation. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. You might not have killers on your tail but you do have an enemy that is out the steal, kill, and destroy. Give God your heart and watch Him work in your life.
