My review today is on the novel Wheels of Justice. This is the second book in the Redwood Series. I was asked to read and review this book and I can assure these are my thoughts. I really enjoyed this book. I don't usually care for books written in the first person but Vickie did a good job with this one. The story is well written, full of drama, and heart warming. I enjoyed the characters very much.
Constance Knight and her husband Henry have recently been divorced. Connie's job ended when her boss left town. If something didn't happen soon she would be out in the street; she has had her lights turned off, she is out of gas, and there is no food in her house. She takes a job at McKinney's Fine Cars. Monica McKinney saw her desperate situation and helps her out. Connie loves her work at the dealership. Monica and her brother Rick are so good to her but the father hates her and does everything in his power to cause her to leave.
Richard McKinney believes in respecting his father even though there not much to respect. Rick can't believe how his father can treat this beautiful woman so badly. Rick hasn't been drawn to a woman for years but this woman touches his heart. His father blows up when he sees Rick bring Connie to work one morning. Why does his father hate her? How can he risk being with her? He couldn't bear to see her hurt by his father, she has suffered enough abuse in her life.
A story where one evil man tries to control the lives of his entire family and the people who work for him. God has a plan for these two people; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give God your heart and watch Him turn your mess around.
