My review today is on Double Exposure. This is one of the books in the Novella, Target for Danger and is also the first book in the Exposure Series. I will write a review for each of these stories. This one is well written, action packed, and breaks your heart. We know these things happen but I also know it's hard to write about these horrors going on in our world.
Dr. Tara Blackburn is a epidemiologist serving in Africa trying to identify a virus that has attacked a village when suddenly the village is attacked by armed men and everyone was killed except Tara and she know the man that led the raid. She called her father's friend; he helps her escape and she is assumed dead. She now resides in the Arctic Wolves Sanctuary in Oregon. When a man enters the sanctuary to take pictures and write a story about the sanctuary she is worried. She decides to run but when she get to the jeep the man is there telling her they must leave for someone is coming to kill her.
Ex-Military Grant McCall is a photojournalist and an operative on multi-agency task force trying to find the missing doctor. He saw a picture of her standing in the background of photo in the news. He has spent a long time searching for her but he has finally found her. Now he realized if he could find her then the enemy could too. He tells her father's friend and then goes to get her out of there only to find she is trying to escape him. Can he convince her to trust him? Does she know who was involved in the village attack? Does she have a sample of the virus?
A struggle to survive when all around you are people trying to destroy you. If they are killed and the virus is set lose the whole world could be in danger. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Just give him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
