My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, A Tailor-Made Husband. This is the ninth book in the Texas Grooms Series. I enjoy Winnie's work very much. This book is well written, faith based, and heartwarming. You're going to love it.
Seamstress Hazel Andrews has been in love with the sheriff since she was a young teen. She has decided that she is wasting her time dreaming of a future with this man so she has decided that since her business is failing she needs to move back to New Your to work with her aunt in the fashion world. When the sheriff returns with the body of his sister so that she can be buried here in Turnabout Texas he brings back Meg, an orphan girl. He expects Hazel to care for the child, she shares with him she will but only for a short time as she is moving away.
Sheriff Wade Gleason is shocked when his best friend tells him she is moving a way. Hazel was his sister's best friend and had been a part of his life for ever. She can't just leave. He knows she wants more from him than friendship but he had let her no there was no way he could marry after he failed his sister. His office was his calling and he was responsible for the whole town 24/7. There was no place in his life for a wife or children. As he and Hazel share caring for Meg the are drawn together. Caught in a compromising situation they become engaged but only to keep the gossips happy. Things just aren't going right.
A journey to two broken souls; Wade believes he failed his sister, he failed Meg, and now he has failed Hazel, Hazel's heart is broken by Wade's inability to love her, she must move on. God has a plan for these three people; a plan for a hope and a future. He has a plan for you too. Trust Him and watch Him move in your life.
