The Unveiling by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance The Unveiling. This is the first book of the Age of Faith Series. I really enjoy Medieval books and this one is awesome. It's action packed, well written, and full of surprises. I love the faith aspect of the book. You will laugh and you will cry but you won't be able to put it down. I know you are going to love this book.

Lady Annyn Bretanne has been brought up as a tomboy and not a lady. She has been trained in weapons with one thing in mind; to avenge her brother's life. Her brother had been training as a squire to become a knight at Wulfrith Castle. His body was brought back by Baron of Wulfrith himself. they were told that he died and honorable death but when viewing his  body they found that he had been hung. Four years later Annyn was able to exchange places with a squire that had been captured by the future king Henry. Henry told Annyn that she is be married on the morrow and she agrees. That night she and her captain of the guards steal away and goes to the Wulfrith Castle. She is dressed as a boy and with the other squire's papers. She is determined to kill the Baron. She soon finds out that the Baron didn't kill her brother but thought he had committed suicide nevertheless she tries to kill the Baron but is caught and reveiled as a woman. She's going to find the real killer if the Baron doesn't hang her first.

Baron Wulfrith has been brought up to have no use for women. Women were not allowed at his castle where he trained the young men to be knights. He is furious that a woman breached his castle and actually managed to remain undetected for over ten days. He can't understand his attraction for her. He decides to take her to his mother's castle until he can decide what to do with her. Her captain of the guards tries to free her and shoots the Baron. His men captures them and takes both of them to the castle and they are put in a prison.

A great tale of the struggles of two souls caught up in a world of intrigue. God has a plan for these two and is far greater than they ever dreamed. God has a plan for you too. Just give Him your heart and trust Him to move in your life.
