My review today is on the Love Inspired , Coming Home to Texas. This is second book in the Blue Thorn Ranch Series. I really enjoyed this book. The story is well written, humorous, and heart warming. I know you will enjoy it.
Ellie Buckton finds her fiancee in the arms of her best friend; brokenhearted she runs home to heal. She is picked up for speeding on her way to the ranch. Crying and unable to control herself, the law enforcement officer lets her go with a warning. She soon meets the man again when there is attacks on the herd of bison at her brother's ranch. She can't believe that she is attracted to this man after all that she has been through.
Nash Larson has taken a temporary job in a small town in Texas. When he picks up the beautiful Ellie he is imediately attracted to her but he doesn't want a rebound relationship. They just simply didn't work. Nash was just here for a time to heal. He had been involved with at-risk kids in LA and the one he cared for the most had shot him twice. The emotional scars were much worse than the ones to his body.
When the pastor asks Nash and Ellie to lead an after school program neither one want to do it but the pastor talked them into it. Would history repeat it self? Was one of their kids the one who was causing all the problems at the ranch? Forced to spend a great deal of time together the attraction between them continues to grow. God has a plan for these two. It wasn't what they thought it would be but it was far greater than they had dreamed of. God is like that for you and me too. His plan is always more than you could imagine. Give God control of your life and watch Him turn everything around.
