My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Rocky Mountain Pursuit. This is Mary's second book for LIS and it is awesome. I have enjoyed her work and look forward to the next book she has out. This book is well written, action packed, and full of adventure, I know you'll love it.
Dr. Reyna Peterson is a widow. Her husband was a CIA operative that was killed in a supposed accident. It was late at night and Reyna was reading a letter from her husband warning her to not trust anyone from the government when three men pounded on her door. They claimed to be agents and accused her husband of being a traitor. She could be taken in as a prisoner if she refused to hand over a laptop her husband stole. "We have ways of getting information out of people and I promise you won't like it" he threatened. He gave her two days to turn over the laptop. She did the only thing she could, she ran to the only man who could help her.
Former CIA Agent Jase Bradford was believed dead. The only man left standing from his team. He had been badly injured and the CIA declared him dead three years ago for his protection. Jase lived a quiet life up in the Rocky Mountains. He had managed to stay off the grid until a fateful storm brought in the widow of a former operative. She brought an evil team of military terrorists to his back door. Now he needed to get them help and keep her safe, he owed it to here husband Eddie, as he was the one who recruited him.
A journey of sheer terror, these two fight to stay alive and to find someone who can help them, believe in them, and save the country from these terrorists. They soon find that God is the only One that they can truly trust. God has a plan and it's much better than they had hoped for. God is like that. We don't face terrorist as a rule but we are in a war and satan is bound to destroy us but God has a plan for each of us. When you accept His as your Lord and trust Him to work things out, you will be amazed.
