My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, Cowboy Seeks a Bride. This is the second book in the Four Stones Ranch Series. I enjoyed this book; it's well written, humorous, and entertaining. Her characters are complex and pull you into the story. I know you will enjoy it also.
Marybeth O'Malley comes from and abused background. Her parents are both dead but somewhere in Colorado is her older brother and she must find him. The church sent her to a finishing school where she met Rosamond Northam and they became good friends. When Rosamond's parents decided she would be a perfect bride for their son, she agreed to go to Colorado to marry him. Marybeth had no intention of ever marrying after what her father had done to her mother but a ticket to Colorado would help her find Jimmy.
Randall Northam had a notorious past and all though he now wanted to settle down with the lovely Marybeth he feared she wouldn't marry him when she learned the truth about him. It was obvious when she arrived that she knew the truth and she didn't want to marry him. He soon learned that her sole purpose for being there was to find her brother so he sets out to find him but a ruthless killer had came to town to kill him and is trying to court Marybeth. Can he find her brother before the man hurt his bride?
A journey of two broken people trying to find love in a world of violence and learning that the only hope they had was to trust in the Lord. God always has a plan and when we trust Him He will make a way where there seems to be no way. God will make a way for you if you can just turn over your mess and let Him work it out.
