False Hope by Meli Raine

My review today is on the Suspense Thriller, False Hope. This is the second book in the False Series. I really liked the first book and I have to tell you the whole concept of a woman trapped in her own body in a coma was intriguing to me. This second book is told in the first person of Seamus (Sean) McDuff, the body guard that is taking care of Lily. He knows that she knows who tried to kill her what he doesn't know is why she refuses to tell anyone. Suddenly he realizes who it is and it's even worse than he thought it could be. I really like the story line in this book but I was disappointed in the fact that their was sex in this book. Not only was their a graphic scene but it's all he seemed to think of. Plus this book was filled with profanity. These two things kept me from loving the book.
As a Christian Suspense author I know a really good story line doesn't need sex or profanity. As I said I liked the story but to those Christians who follow me I urge you to be cautious.

False Memory by Meli Raine

My review today is on the suspense thriller, False Memory. This is False book one. I've never read any of Meli's books before but this is a must read. It is well written and a different concept of how suspense is usually written. I really was captivated by it. I know you are going to love it.
Lily Thornton wakes up in a hospital bed. She has intense pain but seems to be trapped in her own body. After weeks of slowly waking and being unable to communicate she slowly is beginning to respond to what is going on around her. She remembers being shot in the back of her head. She remembers who shot her but he must not know she remembers because he is standing right there in front of her along with the man who had supposedly saved her life and she can't move. Were the working together? They were her bodyguards. Slowly things begin to start to work; her eyes could track, later she began to answer questions with a squeeze of their hands. The doctors didn't believe her mother even when she started making some sounds. She had been in a coma for fourteen months. People just don't come back from that.
This story covers several months as she pretends she knows nothing. The killer standing close by. He's sure she knows it was him. God has a plan for this young woman, a plan for a hope and a future, even though she sees no hope at all. God has a plan for you too. Give God you heart and watch the miracles He will do in your life.
