My review today is on the romantic Christian suspense, Shadow at Dusk. This is the second book in the series Missing in Alaska. I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth's work. I swear each book gets better. This book is well-researched and the characters are well developed. The story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
After surviving a terrible injury when her boyfriend pushed her out of an airplane, Carrie James and her long-time friend and partner, Isaac, moved to Alaska. Ten years later she's recovered and is a bush pilot. She rescues an ill client in the bush and when she returns she is contacted by a detective looking for his sister. She turns him down as she is taking a trip the next day. After Isaac's murder, she agrees to help the detective if he will help her find Isaac's killer.
Montana Detective Trevor West is looking for his sister. She disappeared over a year ago. Can she still be alive? He comes to Alaska after new evidence comes to light. Chief Long suggests he gets Carrie to help him in his search as she is the best bush pilot. She turns him down at first but after the death of her partner, she agrees. Men are chasing them. Which one is the target? Can they find his sister? They need answers.
A horrific journey across Alaska as they follow a trail of pictures his sister left. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and for a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life even in this time of political chaos.
