My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense. Hunted at Christmas. This is book seventeen in the series Amish Country Justice. I'm a big fan of Dana's work. I really like Amish stories and I love suspense so her work is special for me. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Widow and single mother Addison Bruce (Addison Johnson) is putting away laundry when she hears someone downstairs. Is it someone breaking in or the man who has been stalking her? She gets her backpack and slips out her bedroom window just as the school bus pulls up to drop off her son. They run to her neighbor's house.
Bounty Hunter Isaiah Bender catches sight of the dark-haired lady leading a small child. He checks his phone, this is the woman he is searching for. She needs to be brought to justice. She has multiple charges against her. He follows her. He hears her shriek and the child cry. He doesn't know if this is a partnership gone bad or an attack. The man is wearing a ski mask that can't be good. He does know a woman and a child are in danger. He must help them.
A terrifying journey to escape killers while trying to clear Addison's name. God has a plan for these three broken souls, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
