My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Taken in the Night. This is book three in the series Mount Shasta Secrets. I'm a great fan of Elizabeth's work so I was thrilled to receive this book in the mail. This is an awesome book and I know you are going to love it. It's well written, action-packed, and full of drama.
Widow Danielle Collins and her daughter come to meet her brother for her daughter's birthday. Her brother contacts her to meet him at his campsite; this was not like him. Her brother was acting strange. He leaves them to get something out of the car to show her what was going on. She hears gunshots then a strange man comes into the tent and abducts them. They are rescued by her child's secret father. Can she keep this a secret? Will she lose her heart again?
Special Agent Reese Bradley (ex-SEAL) is at a convenience store buying water when his ex comes into the store acting odd. She tells him he is mistaken she doesn't know him. She grabs a bunch of fast food, throws money at the checker, and then runs out to a car. He follows her only to watch her car slide into a ditch. A man carrying a small child jumps out of the back seat. He manages to rescue them but can he find out who is after them? What is her brother involved in? Can he keep his heart safe?
A terrifying journey searching for some evidence the killers want, running from killers, and trying to stay out of past hurts. God has a plan for these three, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too; a good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around even in a time of chaos like we are going through.
