My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Mountain Survival. I really enjoy Christy's books and this one is awesome. The story is well written, action packed and full of twists. Faith is a big part of this book. I know you are going to love it.
Park Ranger Autumn Mercer is a widow. Search and Rescue has been a way to survive her loss. She and her K-9 partner are out in the mountains when she meets a stranger. He asks for her help as his brother fell and broke his leg. A storm is coming so they must hurry. They hear gunshots Autumn tells him they are probably hunters. When they arrive at the camp they are met with more gunshots.
Attorney Derek Peterson is not an outdoor person. He came to spend some time with his brother. Derek's fiancee had left him at the altar a year ago and his brother William had just gone through a bad break up. Their father had recently died, this trip was to bring them closure and bring them closer together. His brother is missing when they arrive. Gunshots meet them. These men aren't hunters they are killers.
A horrific journey dodging killers, fighting a terrible storm, and raging floods. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too; a plan for peace and not for destruction even in our time of chaos. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your storm.
