My review today is on the Western Romance, Pioneer Yearning. This is book three in The O'Rourke Family Montana Saga. I have really enjoy this saga. This book is well written, and full of twists and turns. I know you are going to love it.
Niamh O'Rourke buries her husband in the first of the book. The man had abused her through their entire marriages. He dies in a fight at the bordello. He leaves her with a young daughter. The town decides that she drove the man to his death. She is forced into marriage with her husband's brother. (the man she truly loves) for her protection. How can she trust that he is different? How can she live with her guilt?
Cormac Ahern fell in love with Niamh when they first came to Montana but she chose his brother. He helped them elope. He knows the only reason his brother married her was because her knew Cormac loved her. He has watched with horror as his brother turned into a monster. Now he wants nothing more than to show her how a man should treat a woman he cherishes.
A difficult journey to learn of love and trust especially when your heart is broken, full of doubt and fear. Its an awesome story of life after abuse.
