My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Arctic Christmas Ambush. This is a great book. It's well written, action packed and full of drama. Faith is an important part of this story. I know you are going to love it.
Veterinarian Kara Riley goes to check on her best friend's dogs. Walt had been her handler when she first entered WITSEC as a young teen. Now he is her best friend and had asked her to move to where he lives now. She looks in on the puppies then goes for a cup of coffee. She goes into his home but she hears arguing. When she hears a gun shot she hides in the closet. She can hear someone searching through things and then he leaves. She sends a text to her ex, a trooper. She checks on Walt only to find him dead. Then the killer returns. She runs in a flurry of gun shots. She jumps on her snow mobile and takes off but doesn't get far in the blizzard before she is shot.
Alaska State Trooper Shane Taylor has just checked an empty car during the blizzard when he received a text from his ex. Kara had broke up with him three months ago. They weren't right for each other but it still bothered him. She was keeping something from him but refused to trust him. He heads to Walt's. When he arrived he can't find her. One of the dogs lead him to her. He must get her help. An avalanche keeps them trapped at a close resort with the killer.
A terrifying journey to stay one step ahead of the killer. Is this the men from the crime boss years ago or someone new? God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work for you even in this chaos. He is a very good God.
