My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Copycat Killer. This is the first book in the True Blue K-9 Unit Brooklyn Continuity Series. I always enjoy the continuity series because they are all written by my favorite LIS authors. This story (like all of Laura's books) is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love it.
Willow Emery is on her way to her brother and sister-in-law's home to talk to them about letting her raise their daughter. They aren't taking proper care of the child and she is going to do something about it. She arrives to find both parents dead and Lucy trying to wake them up. She feared the killer might still be in the house. She took Lucy outside and called 911. A K-9 Unit showed up.
Detective Nate Slater is rattled by the disturbing scene so much like a murder that took place twenty years ago. The little girl had seen the killer and described him as a bad clown. He must protect this little girl and her aunt even if he is attracted to the aunt.
A horrifying journey of a crazed killer trying to kill a witness. God has a plan for these three, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil.
