My review today is on the Romance, One Enchanted Eve. This is book two in the Enchanted Christmas Series. I have never read any of Melissa's books before but I really enjoyed this one. This book is well written, humorous, and delightful. I know you are going to love it.
Rylan Jefferson is a teacher in a culinary school. She had her own bakery but lost it and her boyfriend at the same time. She broke off her relationship with her family because of the situation. Now she teaches others to bake but she still has her dreams. There is one man who is trying to destroy her class. He drives her crazy. He won't follow her recipes but is always experimenting. She wants to throw him out but somehow ends up spending Christmas break at his home.
Colin Renwycke has a problem. He has never accomplished anything in his life. His brother has bailed him out over and over. Now he is in the Denver Culinary School trying to become a pastry chef. He keeps experimenting with all his recipes partly to watch his teacher blow up. She's so cute when she's mad. He is about to be expelled when he asks Rylan to go home with him and he'll help her use some imagination in her recipe that she must submit to win a position in her boss's new bakery. That will give him time to convince her to keep him in her class.
A delightful journey of two broken people who learn to work well together and reconcile with their families. Although it blows up in their face at times. I know you will enjoy this book.
