My review today is on a Christian Suspense, Shadowing Stella. I had never read any of Ellie's work; it was sent to me to read. My review is all my own thoughts and ideas. I really enjoyed the book so I'm reviewing it for all my followers. This story is well written, intriguing, and full of twists and turns. Faith is interwoven into the story as a fine tapestry. I know you are going to love it.
Stella McIntyre is a preachers kid. She always did what she was expected to do. She and a friend quit college and went on a trip to Florida. Her friend left and went home but Stella felt like she couldn't go home. She lost her home and moved in with co-works. She went to a bar with them. The last thing she remembered was going to the rest room before she woke up in a strange hotel. When she finds out she's pregnant she heads for home. An older couple stop to give her a ride and help her to get home.
Her family welcomes her home but there are those who gossip and try to hurt her. She feels something is off. Is she paranoid?
Army Corporal Jason Duncan is back from deployment. He is attracted to the obvious pregnant Stella. He could tell he made the beautiful Stella nervous. She tried to avoid him at all cost. He couldn't believe a man would get her pregnant and then run off and leave her. She was amazing. When he finds she was raped he heads out to find the guy but only finds dead ends. His dream and goal is to make Stella and her baby his family. He loves her but can he convince her to trust him. When Stella is abducted he is unable to contain his worry. He must find her.
A journey of a mentally ill, mad man trying to restore his home, the police and Jason trying to find her. God has a plan for these two (three with the baby) a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
