My review today is on the Christian Romance, Invitation to the Ball. This is book 4.5 in the Love in Store Series. This is an excellent book. I know you are really going to love this one. This story is well written, humorous, and heartwarming. This is a modern take of the Cinderella story. It's delightful.
Ellie Aston considers herself the ugly step sister. Her twin step sisters are beautiful like their mother. Ellie grew up without a mother for quite awhile and saw no way to change her tomboy ways. She's always dreamed of being beautiful but knew that would never happen. When she is asked to a glittering London ball with her secret crush she is thrilled but needs help. She goes to her boss, (her Fairy Godmother) for a dress to wear and ends up with a total makeover. For once she feels pretty but at the stroke of midnight her whole world falls a part. Only God can help her through this mess.
David Warwick is the department manager in the men's department of the P&M Department store. He has a crush on the lovely lady in the flower department. He has tried to hint to her he would like to go out with her but has got no where. When his boss orders him to go to the ball to represent the store he must take one of the employees. He's thrilled when Ellie agrees to go with him. He suggest she goes to her boss for a dress. He has dreams of a future with her until he ruins everything.
A great journey of learning who you are in Christ and that God has a purpose for you. He has a plan for a hope and a future for these two. God has a plan for you too; a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him bring you out of your mess. God is so good!
Thanks so much for your lovely review, Glenda! And congratulations on your own books.
