My review today is on the Love Inspired, The Wedding Quilt. This is the second book in the Brides of Lost Creek Series. Marta does such an excellent job on Amish stories. This book is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. You are going to love this one.
Widow Rebecca Mast returns to her families home. Her marriage had been a struggle. She and her son were going to start over. She's determined to be independent and not lean on anyone not even her family. Her dream is to start a quilt shop so she can support herself and her son. She contacts a childhood friend to do the carpentry work. Her brother-in-law refuses to pay for the farm he bought from her now her dream is dead too.
Daniel King is a carpenter. He is thrilled to be able to help Rebecca who was once his best friend. She and her son have obviously been deeply hurt. He wants to protect her and the boy. She soon notifies him she is unable to pay him so he must stop his work. Daniel manages to talk her into letting him continue. He didn't realize that in working for her he would lose his heart. Can he show her to trust again and lean on God and her family?
God has a plan for this little family, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.
