My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cowboy Bodyguard. This is the third book in the Gold Country Cowboys Series. I really enjoy Dana's books. This is an awesome series and I know you are going to love it. The book is well written, action packed, and full of adventure. Faith is interwoven throughout the whole story much like a fine tapestry. This is an awesome read!
Doctor Shannon Livingston is working in the ER when she receives a patient that has fallen down a flight of stairs. The man is alive but just barely. She goes to report his condition to his family but only finds a biker gang. As she speaks to them they threaten the young girl that is with them, Dina. Shannon walks away and is called to another case. Later Dina finds her in the break room carrying a small baby. The men are out looking for her. She needs help. As Shannon is trying to figure out what to do she sees a cop take a bribe from the leader of the gang, the Tides. They sneak out the back door and run. With no one else that she can trust she calls her husband. The man she secretly married seven years ago.
Cowboy Jack Thorn is shocked to get a call from his secret wife. He had finally got over her betrayal and had decided to go ahead with the divorce. Now she needs help. There is nothing to do but rescue her and the small baby she brings with her. She explains the mother is trying to find her brother and they needed to keep the baby safe. He takes her home and explains to his family that she is his wife and has been or seven years. This child is theirs and they need to keep them safe. His family has a hard time accepting the situation especially when a rival gang comes into town as the Tides come to get the child and find Dina.
A journey of twists and turns with a couple that God brought together for a second chance. God had a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around. He is a good God and wants only the best for you.
