My review today is on the Christian Western Romance Novel, A Debutante for the Rancher. It is a part of the Colorado Reborn Series but a stand alone book. This story is well written, heart warming, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Leonie Trowbridge has been sent to England to learn to be a lady and become a debutante for her first season. Her Aunt is determined to marry her off to an Earl or a Duke. Leonie is just having a good time and finds many suitors. She receives a telegram from her brother's foreman telling her that her sister-in-law was gravely ill. She doesn't even think about it but packs up to go home. Her aunt goes with her even though she hates her nephew's wife believes this is a hoax.
Jem McClary has worked as a foreman since before this present owner. He loves the ranch and the family that he works for. When he finds out that pregnant Molly is gravely ill and she and the baby might not make it he feels he must send for Leonie. She would be heartbroken if they kept it from her. After their arrival he messes up. He takes her in his arms and kisses Leonie in front of her formidable aunt and the men of the ranch. Aunt Edwina insists Nate must fire the man. Nate has no choice but to fire Jem. Jem takes off for Denver and then to Leadville to make his fortune so he could be worthy of Leonie.
A tragic journey for all involved as a fire threatens the family and they must run for their lives. Nate stays at home to fight the fire, Molly is still weak and falls a part, Edwina's Dr. takes her baby away, and Jem knows nothing about it as he works as a guard in the mines of Leadville. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too; a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
