My review today is on the romance, Under the Redwood Tree. This is book one in the Redwood Coast Series. I always enjoy Elizabeth books and this one is excellent. It is well written, heartwarming, and with just a thread of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.
Camille Westover is a struggling young artist. She has painted a picture for an upcoming contest but it lacks inspiration. When she meets the son of one of her housemates she knows he is the answer to her prayers but she questions her need to win and acquire a scholarship to the art school after spending time with Romeo.
Romeo Merete has finally come to visit his mother. He had been injured during his last deployment. He had refused to let his mother come visit him so now it was time. His has been struggling with the terrible scars that cover half his face. Romeo is drawn to the beautiful Camille but sees no hope for a future with her or any woman.
A classic story of beauty and the beast. God has a plan for these two: a good plan and not for evil, can they forget their past and move on to happily ever after? God has a plan for you too. Just give Him your heart and watch Him work.
