My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Big Sky Showdown. I don't know about you all but I'm always thrilled to see one of Sharon's book arrive. I love her work, she writes awesome adventure stories. This book is well written, action packed, and full of twists and turns. You will love her characters.
All though this is a tremendous love story it's also a story of two orphaned brothers. They were found in the wilderness by a hard survivalist, Willis, that ruled his men and boys by fear and punishment. One brother Zane Scofield broke away and was mentored by a man, Stephan who trained him with time, love, and spiritual guidance. After Stephan's death he left his business to his estranged daughter with the caveat that she take his ashes to the top of the mountain and spread them out. Zane is not happy about his job of guiding a spoiled ungrateful girl up a mountain. She has nothing good to say about the man that saved his life. He soon finds out that his past has caught up with him. Can he protect the girl and still find out what has happened to his brother?
Heather Jacobs is a personal trainer she comes to Montana to fulfill her late father's request. she would pour out his ashes, sell his business, and fly home again. Quick and easy, right? It's not like she even knew the man, only the horrible things her mother had told her about him. Zane went off to hunt and left her alone only to be attacked by a couple of young boys. Heather is a city girl from California how is she going to go up against these survivalist. Zane returns to help but they a set out on a chase for their lives. Zane's brother, Jordan seems to be one of the men that is out to kidnap them. Can they possibly trust Jordan or can they help him find his way.
A journey of these two trying to survive the attacks of this army that seems to range from ten years old and up. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Surrender your heart to Jesus and watch Him move in your life. God bless you all.
