Hazardous Holiday by Liz Johnson

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hazardous Holiday. This is the fifth book in the Men Of Valor Series. Don't you just love Liz's stories? I know I do. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I love stories about special ops military programs as my son was in the Special Forces with the Air Force so they fascinate me. Navy Seals are special.

Kristi Tanner is a widow with a small son who has a bad heart. There was no way she could care for him and pay for a new heart. When her deceased husband's cousin proposes to her she has very little choice. To marry again seems like betrayal to her but her son's health must come first. So they move to San Diego and her husband was deployed for a year.

Navy Seal Zach McCloud has been in love with Kristi since they were children but she married his cousin. He knew they had been happy but when Aaron died he felt he needed to marry Kristi and care for her and her son. They were married, even though he knew they were never going to be more than married on paper. He moved them to his home and he left on deployment. When he returns he finds that his family is under attack. Someone is trying to kill his wife. A sniper misses his mark and causes Zach to wonder exactly who the killer is trying to kill. Can he keep them safe?

A journey of a little family trying to survive the chaos of heart transplants while facing a killer. God has a plan for this little family, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Just give Him your heart and make Him your Lord and watch Him turn your life around.
