Cowboy Creek Christmas by Cheryl St. John & Sherri Shackelford

My review today is on the Love Inspired Historical, Cowboy Creek Christmas. This is a novella and a wonderful read. I so enjoy these two authors. These stories are well written and heart warming, just what you need on a cold day with a cup of hot cocoa. I know you will enjoy these stories.

Mistletoe Reunion by Cheryl St. John
Marlys Boyd has spent her whole life pursuing medicine, not just any kind of medicine but holistic or natural medicine. Now that she is a doctor she must find a place where people will accept her so she moves to Cowboy Creek, Kansas. Upon arrival she finds her ex-fiancee is the newspaper owner. Suddenly she begins to question her decisions to cut him out of her life.
Sam Mason is still attracted to Marlys but with a young son he doesn't want to have his heart broke one more time. He feels he must help the town accept her though and he must protect her from their fear.

Mistletoe Bride by Sherri Shackelford
When a very pregnant, very ill woman arrives in Cowboy Creek the midwife asks Colton Werner to help her as the woman was only speaking German and she couldn't understand her. No one expects her or the baby to live through the night.
Beatrix Hass tells him she is a mail-order bride but the man she was to marry had recently died. To reassure her he marries the woman to give the child a name and the woman hope.
Colton is horrified to have to actually help deliver the baby but something happens in his heart as he hold this small life that is not breathing. He goes out to clean up the little body but the washing brought the baby back.

These two stories are great and show God always has a plan. None of the couples had any hope for their future but God brought them together and gave them a hope and a future. God has a plan for you two. Give Him your heart and lay down your control and watch Him work out your problems. God is so good.
