My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Kidnapped in the Woods. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Investigative Journalist Rachel Davenport received a tip about a teen girl being kidnapped. She goes to a dilapidated shack. She never should have agreed to this. She sees two armed men dragging a teenage girl to the shack. After they dumped her, Rachel could hear the roar of a boat engine. The men went to meet the boat. It was now or never. She got into the shack and spoke the girl's name. She had been drugged and it was hard for her to stand. They escaped but how long til the men will find them.
Fireman Patrick Ryan is at his uncle's cabin trying to recuperate from an injury. Was that gunshots? His rescue dog is pacing the floor restlessly. As he moves to the door talking to Shadow more gunshots. Machine guns! Not hunters. He peeked out the door and a young teen girl tumbled into his arms. He lays her on the couch, loads his gun, and starts for his jeep. As he opens the door another woman burst through. He has to get them help but there is a blizzard outside and no cell phone service.
A terrifying journey to try to stay ahead of the kidnappers and their advanced weapons. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
