My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Serial Threat. This is book five in the series Emergency Responders. I'm a huge fan of Valerie's work so I was thrilled to receive this one in the mail. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.
Attorney Noah Holden receives a call from an informant to meet him at the park. He doesn't find his informant but stumbles on a dead body. He learns it was a woman from his past. More women turn up dead, all were women from his past. He must get his name taken off the top of the suspect list. He turns to Emily for help.
Paradise Police Officer Emily Zwalt is called to the city park to answer a call of a woman screaming. As she searches the area a man approaches her. She radios for help and then aims her gun at him only to be struck from behind. She is ready to help Noah. She believes in his innocence but as they work together she soon becomes the next target.
An exciting journey to stay one step ahead of a serial killer and to delve into Noah's past. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction, even in this time of political unrest and chaos.
