My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Nameless. This is book three in the series Age of Conquest. I'm one of Tamara's biggest fans. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. This is an awesome book. I know you are going to love it.
Sir Dougray of the D'Argents was born of scandal. In his hope to win a beautiful lady, he leaves Normandy to fight for William the Great. He is wounded and almost loses his life. He did lose his arm but recovers and goes to aid the now king. He sees a slave that is being abused and is drawn to protect her. He has become a scout for King William and is able to help the slave turned rebel. He also meets his true sire.
Em and her younger brother sold themselves as slaves so that their young brother and sister might have food to live. The man who bought her is cruel and uses her body whenever he wants. He threatens to hand her over to his men to abuse. Em spies for the rebels and helps them. Her brother is living with the Wulfriths. She escapes her master and lives with the rebels. She is trained in weapons but has a hard time with men. She feels something in her is broken. She is rescued several times by Sir Dougray and is attracted to him but she fears all men.
A terrifying journey through the war-ravaged England. These two broken souls are brought together as they often find themselves on opposite sides.
