Fire by Linda K. Rodante

My review today is on the Contemporary Christian Romantic Suspense, Fire. This is book three in the series Spiritual Warfare. I really enjoy Linda's books and I'm always thrilled when the next one comes out. This one didn't let me down, it is awesome! The story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. It definitely shows the battle between good and evil. I know you are going to love this one.

Patriot, (Travis) was an undercover cop. He broke up a white supremacy gang but almost died. He now lives in Denver and is a firefighter. He comes back to Florida to testify against the gang members. Today he is back to save his friend GreasePaint. He's to meet J-beck at the church. He called Reese, the Assistant Pastor and tells him to keep everyone inside. As he arrives he calls out to J-beck but a woman drives up to the jogging trail. He yells for her to leave but before he can do anything J-beck comes out of hiding and throws GreasePaint into the pond. Shots ring out and sirens squeal. He goes after his friend but the mud makes it difficult. The woman comes in the water to help him. She asks for his shirt and tries to stop the bleeding of multiple stab wounds.

ER Nurse Chloe Swearingen went out to the church property for a run. She rushes in to help the man save the other man that has been thrown into the pond. He has multiple knife wounds. When they arrive at the hospital she gets them both scrubs. She tells Reese and Patriot that he will live. The police are now their and want to talk to her. Patriot reads her the riot act for putting herself in danger. She is not impressed with the arrogant man. His friend would have died if she hadn't helped.

A difficult journey as J-beck tries to rebuild a gang by taking the lives of the three men that broke up the original gang. He will use anything to destroy them and cares less about collateral damage. God has a plan for these two and the church; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Even in this trying time we live in God can make a way for you and your loved ones. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your world around.
