My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Accidental Target. This is Theresa's first book for LIS but I'm sure we will all be looking forward to her next one. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Allison Moore is on her way to her sister's. She missed the birth of her new niece due to the flu now the weather is acting up. she just wants to get there and attend her older niece's program. A truck comes right at her in her lane. She manages to pull off the icy road but the truck that almost hit her flips over. she calls for help. She walks to the truck to help using the light on her phone. The man in the truck shouts at her then points a gun at her and shoots. As she runs back to her car she spots a hand sticking out from the trap that had been in the bed of the truck. She drove off but the man kept shooting at her. He hit her tire and she wasn't able to go far. She ran the car off the road and darkness surrounded her.
Sergeant Jackson Archer finds the car and the unconscious woman. He calls in confused thinking he is looking for a pickup. He waits with Allison until the ambulance arrives and then follows her to the hospital. Her story is a little hard to believe but he wants her protected if someone is really trying to kill her.
A strange journey as men are indeed trying to kill her. He must keep her safe as he tries to keep one step ahead of the killer; now he is a target himself. They must find out what is going on. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
