My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Guarding the Amish Midwife. This is the sixth book in the Amish Country Justice Series. I have really enjoyed this series. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Amish Midwife Lizzy Miller is on her way to her cousin's home to help her deliver her child. She had hired a driver to take her to Ohio. Now she sat at an abandoned building while the driver went to do something. It is raining and the man has been gone for over thirty minutes. She goes to talk to him but witnesses his murder. She runs back to the car and takes off. She really can't drive but she takes off anyway. She must get a way from this killer but he is following her.
Police Officer Isaac Yoder was parked by the road and a car drove past him. The car is swerving all over the road. It must be a drunk driver or someone in trouble. He pulls the car over but is shocked to find a young Amish woman in the driver's seat. He asks her if she is in trouble. She tells him of seeing the murder but when they go back to the abandon building there is no body.
A terrifying journey of two wounded souls trying to find their way. God has a plan for them; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. God has a special plan for each of us. Trust Him and He will reveal a plan more wonderful than you could have ever dreamed of.
