My review today is on the Medieval Romance, A Highlander for Christmas. This story takes place in 1714 in Glencoe Scotland. I loved this book. I really enjoy medieval stories although I can't imagine trying to live that way. This story is well written, humorous, and yet intriguing. I know you will love it.
Lady Juliet Lindsay is in Scotland attending the Highland Games. She is fascinated by Chief of the MacLeon Clan. That man is huge and powerful, so unlike the men that she met in her first season. Juliet had allowed a kiss in the garden and is now basically unable to find a decent match so her parents have punished her by sending her to Scotland. She receives word that her father is dying and she must return immediately.
Chief Ian MacLeon was fascinated by the beautiful English rose but he couldn't wed an English woman. His tribe wouldn't accept her but he is drawn to the beauty. He agrees to escort her home as he has business near by. He's shocked that her father is forcing her to marry an evil man.
Juliet's younger brother devises a plan to kidnap the Chief. He drugs the man and then they carry him to a carriage to run him to Gretna Green.
