Long Trail Home by Lacy Williams

My review today is on the Western Romance, Long Trail Home. This is book nine in the series Wagon  Train Matches. This is the final book in this series. I'm a huge fan of Lacy's work so I'm sorry to see the series end but I really enjoyed the ending. Coop has been one of my favorite characters. I know you are going to love it.

Coop Spencer is the reason the family had to leave their home and head west. All of his siblings have found mates but as with all things he is left alone. From the moment he sees Belle (a woman who was hiding in the wagon train) He's determined to protect her..

Belle saw one of the men at the brothel kill her close friend. In fear she ran and hid among the wagon train. She became as a ghost while the killer tried to find  her. She found Coop drunk and fallen into the river and  saves him. When he tries to help her she reacts in fear.

A terrifying journey as they finish their trail. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life even in this time of turmoil.

I'm always excited to get one of her books. I have especially liked this series. I can't even imagine what it would be to spend months crossing the United States and face all the perils. I recently went to Minden to the historical museum. I crawled into one of those wagons. They are so small, how would you get your family and all your belongs and supplies in there? It's a wonder. I know you will love this book.

Lost Hours by Susan Sleeman

My review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Lost Hours. This is book one in the series Lost Lake Locators. I'm a huge fan of Susan's and have followed her for years. I am always thrilled when she launches a new story. As an author I am always amazed at how she is able to come up with her ideas. This one is incredible. I love the first chapter and the escape room. What an awesome way to open the story.

Nolan Orr and his team mates are invited to "a killer of an evening." A formal, black tie, event. Who has invited them? An evening in the mansion had to have cost a fortune especially for the whole team. After dinner they were taken into an escape room, decorated with memorabilia from their police academy days. As they figured out the puzzle they find a dead body. He now had to deal with the one woman who broke his heart, the sheriff!

Sheriff Mina Park sat at her desk wishing for something to happen. Lost Lake nearly drove her nuts in the off season. She mind drifted to her lost love. He had left without a word and broke her heart. She had to stop thinking about him. She then received a call. A murder and Nolan's team was the main suspects. They had been set up to take the fall.
