Storm Warning by Elizabeth Goddard

My review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Storm Warning. This is the first book in the series Hidden Bay. I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth's books, I am so honored to be a part of her launch team. This is an incredible book. As an author I often wonder how she is able to keep coming up with new ideas. So many authors just write the same books with different characters and at different locations. Not so with Elizabeth. I know you are going to love this one.

Former Army Photographer Remi Grant now manages a lodge on Hidden Bay. She came to heal after waking up in a hospital with no memories of the last week. It's storm season so the lodge is full. She is rescued from the storm by a helicopter pilot. She receives puzzle pieces telling her she must remember before it's to late. There are attacks on her and her hero. Can she force herself to remember?

Ex-Army pilot Hawk Beckett is sent to the lodge by his ex boss. He had a catastrophic event and has come to heal and start over. He rescues Remi and is drawn to her.  They are are in the middle of the worst storm to hit the coast. Things keep happening, he must keep her safe and help her get her memory back.

A horrendous journey as they try to figure out what it is she has forgotten. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch Him direct your path.

Uncovering the Truth by Carol J. Post

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Uncovering the Truth. This is the third book in the series Canine Defense. I'm a big fan of Carol's books. I found this one awesome. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.

Alyssa Anderson was on her way to her mother's funeral when her car broke down. She was also on the run having seen something she shouldn't have. Bad men were after her including her ex boyfriend. She picked up her car only to have a car race toward her. She ran only to be shot at. A SUV stopped to help her. Her high school sweetheart.

Spencer Cavanaugh and his K-9 were out picking up boxes for his move to Florida when a woman ran out in front of him. Her was barely able to stop. He had heard two shots. An injured woman limped toward him. Alyssa! She was in trouble. He had to help her.

A terrifying journey to stay one step ahead of her ex and his killer friends. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

Lily Peterson is out running the mountain ridgeline as she had done with her now deceased fiancé. Her K-9, Timber is with her. Her dog ran off and she followed only to find a dead body. She was suddenly knocked sidewise by a blurry force. She slid down the mountainside but was able to stop before going over the edge. As the man reached for her the dog attacked him. He threw Timber off and ran. Lily calls the only man she can trust.

Ex-police officer Travis Beckett was shocked to hear from Lily. He hadn't been a part of her life since his partner, her fiancé was killed. He felt like he had failed her. He should have been the one killed not Matt. He dropped everything and ran up the ridgeline to meet her. She told him today was the one year anniversary of Matt's death. You could see the spot from where he die from where they stood. There was a piece of paper that fell from the dead man's pocket. It was her address. She was in trouble.

I love her stories about marriages of conveniences and often with enemies. You just have to love it. This story is really incredible. I love these two. I know you will too.

Maddie Fairfax is a young woman on the wagon train. She has taught herself how to care for people. She has been busy on this train. Between injuries and plagues. She remains helpful and hopeful. A handsome doctor shows up and tries to stop her work. He wants no help from her or anything to do with her. After the death of a young mother and father, Maddie takes on the care of three little orphans. A job no one thinks she can handle.

Dr. Jason Goodwin was on his way to Oregon last year but his wife and children were killed by a rock slide. He has been lost and angry ever since, He takes it out on the young woman who calls herself a nurse even though he is attracted to her. He will  not love again. Perilous Healing by Jessica Ashley

So my review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Perilous Healing. This is the final book in the series Coastal Hope. It's hard, you can't wait to get to the next book in the series only to finish the last one and be so sad its over. I did read the two short stories that went with the series but I'm still disappointed its over. I loved these characters, they are like family. As a single seventy nine year old great grandma I really liked the short story A Coastal Christmas. It gives me hope. I know you are going to love this one.

God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction. give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
