Bright Fawn by Ramona Flightner

My review today is on the Historical Western, Bright Fawn. This is book two in the Daughters of Bear Grass Springs. I'm a big fan of Ramona's books so I was glad to get this book in the mail. It's well-written and heart-warming. I know you are going to love it.

Bright Fawn Renfrew has just returned from Europe. She had ran when her heart was broken by her true love. She had gone as an artist but wasn't received as she had hoped. She now returns with her tail tucked between her legs, defeated. The town sees her as a celebrity but she is lost in her own defeat. She doesn't know how to respond to her family or friends and then there is Tommy.

Tommy Whitlock had done what he needed to do. His abusive father had warned him he would kill his half-breed girlfriend if he didn't dump her. He has spent years regretting how he treated her, She was way out of league but he ached for her. They found themselves in a compromising position and are forced to marry. His father had returned with his threats, can he keep her safe?

A heart-warming journey of two broken souls. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Trust Him!

Loves Healing Path by Lacy Williams

My review today is on the Christian Historical Romance, Loves Healing Path. This is book six in the series Wagon Train Matches. Lacy is one of my favorite authors. I love her stories about marriages of conveniences and often with enemies. You just have to love it. This story is really incredible. I love these two. I know you will too.

Maddie Fairfax is a young woman on the wagon train. She has taught herself how to care for people. She has been busy on this train. Between injuries and plagues. She remains helpful and hopeful. A handsome doctor shows up and tries to stop her work. He wants no help from her or anything to do with her. After the death of a young mother and father, Maddie takes on the care of three little orphans. A job no one thinks she can handle.

Dr. Jason Goodwin was on his way to Oregon last year but his wife and children were killed by a rock slide. He has been lost and angry ever since, He takes it out on the young woman who calls herself a nurse even though he is attracted to her. He will  not love again. When Maddie takes on the care of the children he can't help but become involved.

A moving journey of love and loss. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

Defending the Child by Sharon Dunn

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Defending the Child. I'm a big fan of Sharon's work. I'm always thrilled to find one of her books in the mail. This one is an excellent example of her stories. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.

Foster mother, Marielle Coleman woke to an intruder in here home. Was he after her foster child Ian? No one knew if Ian had witnessed his mother's murder but this should show them the truth of it. She took Ian and ran through the snow to her car. She drove to the camp that had meant so much to her years ago. Graham, her ex was there. Oh no!

Undercover DEA Agent Graham Flynn has gone to the camp to get his head on straight after the death of his CI. This camp had meant so much to him in the past. It was snowing outside when a knock sounded and there on his porch was the only woman he had ever loved. She had a small child with her. It was obvious she was in trouble. Can he help her?

A terrifying journey as a killer came after them. God has a plan for these three, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

Perilous Healing by Jessica Ashley

So my review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Perilous Healing. This is the final book in the series Coastal Hope. It's hard, you can't wait to get to the next book in the series only to finish the last one and be so sad its over. I did read the two short stories that went with the series but I'm still disappointed its over. I loved these characters, they are like family. As a single seventy nine year old great grandma I really liked the short story A Coastal Christmas. It gives me hope. I know you are going to love this one.

Former Navy SEAL, current security agent for Knight Security. Silas Williamson was captured and tortured ten years ago by a cartel. His SEAL team were killed but he had miraculously escaped. He took with him a beautiful captive. They survive out in the jungle for a month and are then rescued by his cousins. What he learned of the woman who was with him that month haunts him even after ten years. Unfortunately she is now working with him.

Bianca Theodore was captured by the cartel to perform a surgery. The patient dies. Silas rescues her and they run for their lives. Silas was in bad shape from the torture he had endured. She did all that she could to keep him alive. When they are again captured, the men reveal her secret to Silas and changes everything.  Will he ever be able to forgive her?

Ten years later the cartel comes after these two threatening to destroy the small town and kill everyone in it. A terrifying journey to save the people they love. God has a plan for these two, a good plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A plan for peace and not for destruction. give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.
