Vestige of Courage by Sara Blackard

My review today is on the Christian Romance, Vestige of Courage. This is book four in the series, Vestige of Time. I have never read any of Sara's work until I found this series. I bought the first book and then had to buy the whole series. It was that good. It's such a different concept, traveling through time as an act of God. The whole series has been incredible. This story is my favorite. Going back in time would be a shock but going forward in time would be so much harder. I loved how Sara handled it. The letters were great.

Beatrice Thomas was restless. Both of her siblings are married now. Both of their mates had come to them from the future. They did seem to be adjusting but Bea wanted a life of her own. She decided she would find a wild west show and travel the world. In the forest she dismounted her horse daydreaming of her future. She heard a twig snapped, an arm wrapped around her, and a cocky voice whispered "Gotcha." She fought back and her knife entered the man's chest. He pulled it out and leaped at her. Suddenly she was in 2019.

Chase Bennett has been searching for his brother Hunter ever since he disappeared a year ago. He had changed since his brother's disappearance. He had become more responsible. He had been working on a sheep ranch in the mountains. His boss had died and left him the ranch. He's out surveying the area around the ranch when he finds a young woman dressed in buckskins. She was crumpled under a tree. When he woke her up she cried, "Hunter? Hunter... I think I killed him."

So begins the incredible journey in a new world. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Tracing a Killer by Sharon Dunn

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Tracing a Killer. This is book seven in the continuity series Mountain Country K-9 Unit. I've really enjoyed this series. One of the reasons is because it has been written by some of my favorite authors. Sharon's work is awesome and I know you are going to love this story.

Utah Highway Patrol Officer Hannah Scott and K-9 Captain has been sent to the island where Antelope State Park was to convince Trevor Gage to agree to go to a safehouse. He was the most likely the next victim of the Rocky Mountain Killer, or RMK. She was sent by Mountain Country K-9 Unit Task Force. She automatically turned off the road to the place that had changed her life. Her best friend had been murdered right here. As she gazed at the area, a man in a boat landed the boat. He was dressed in a park service uniform and was picking up trash. As he approached a wave of terror engulfed her. She knew this man! He recognized her! He attacked her

Trevor Gage heard the barking of a dog and ran to the edge of the shore. He saw a man in uniform bending in the waist-deep water. What was he doing? Why was the dog so upset? A woman's head bobbed to the surface. He was trying to drowned her. Trevor yell at him to stop. The man's head shot up and then he ran to the nearby boat and started the motor. He grabbed the woman pulling her into deeper water. The woman shouted something and the dog took off.

So began a terrifying journey to stay a head of the man who killed her friend and the RMK trying to kill Trevor. God has a plan for these two, A plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for harm. Give Him your heart and watch change your life even in this time of political unrest.
