The Sheriff's Guns by Will Johnston

My review today is on the western, The Sheriff's Guns. For my followers, this isn't a Christian book. There is some language and violence but it is a great read.  Its well written, full of action and drama. I know you are going to love it.

Rick Arneson takes a job as a sheriff. On the day he arrives in town he breaks up a fight. He's told that he is never going to make it here. The mayor tells him he (the mayor) will keep his own badge just in case. He doesn't want Rick to be to hard on the men. It's not good for business. Rick faces rustlers, banditos, and Apaches. The town is split down the middle; Mexicans on one side and the Anglos on the other. The only good thing in town is the little woman that works in the saloon, Smashed Glass Sally (when men get fresh she slams a glass over their head.)

Victor Fierro wants his land back. He'll do anything to make that happen. He sees himself as a soldier and doesn't care who gets hurt in war as long as he gets his land back. He has manage to spit the town and cause a civil war.

Sally Ziegleris trapped in the saloon. Her father's ranch was attacked and he was shot in the head. He's alive but just barely. They have lost everything and now live in a shack. The only job in town is at the saloon but she doesn't go upstairs. She is drawn to the new sheriff.

A dangerous journey that looks hopeless. Everyone is against the sheriff but he won't give up.

My review today is on the romantic suspense, My Only Chance. This is book one in the Athena Series. I haven't read any of Kelly's books before but I liked this one. It really spoke to me for I came from an abusive marriage and at one time feared for my life. Domestic abuse is a big problem in this nation. For all my followers I must warn you that this is not a Christian book. There is some bad language all though  it is used in the right situations. The story is well written; I know you will like her characters. I highly recommend it.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hidden in Amish Country. This is book seven in the series Amish Country Justice. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I think each of Dana's books are better than the one before. I'm not sure where she gets her ideas but they are great. I know you are going to love it.

She's told the accident was intentional. Ben offers her help.

He sent his son for help. His neighbor comes and they move her. Her face haunts him. His son finds her cell phone, it gives him an excuse to go check on her. The woman is the sister of his friend. He dosen't know why but he must help this woman.

Resisting by H.L. Wegley

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Resisting. This is book two in the series Riven Republic 2. This is an awesome book. It's a look at what will happen if Joe Biden is elected President. It's scary how close it is to what is going on today. The story is well written, action packed, and full of drama. I loved the three boys and hope to see them in the next book. They were awesome. This book will make you laugh, cry, and you won't be able to put it down.

Colonel David Craig is a recently retired Ranger Commander and a national hero. A man of action, he is leading the resistance although he doesn't feel he is worthy. As they are under attack he finds himself drawn to Susan. He hasn't thought about a future before but somehow he could see himself with this beautiful woman. All they have to do is survive.

Susan O'Connell is the original owner of Crooked River Espresso. She is a patriot, a team builder, and leader in the resistance. She is drawn to David; she never thought she would find a man that interested her after she had been left behind by the love of her life. There is something wonderful about this man. Could they have a future?

A journey to survive. The President is determined to destroy them and make them an example of them for all the other states to see. This resistance is determined to make the United States great again. God wants His country back and He uses this small resistance to turn this world around. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you. By now you must know that unlike everything you hear, God isn't in control. Man gave the devil control and unless you give your heart to Jesus and give Him control of your life His hands are tired. Make Him Lord of your life and watch Him turn your life around.

Night Vision by Susan Sleeman

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Night Vision. This is book two in the series Nighthawk Security. Each time Susan sends me a book I wonder how she can top the last one but she has done it again. This book is amazing. It is well written, action packed, and fast paced. I know you are going to love it.

Widow Jenna Paine and her four year old daughter are on vacation. She has won a Christmas in the Mountains giveaway. It was a God send as there would be no Christmas for them this year. Her first night there she goes out to bring in wood when she is attacked. She fights back and is able to scream for help. A neighbor runs up to help them. He takes them to his cabin where his family is staying.

Brendan Byrd is staying at the cabin, a family tradition for Christmas. He hears a woman scream and rescues her. He can't leave her there for the man to return. He takes Jenna and Karlie back home with him. His family will keep them safe. Brendan is the second son of the Byrd family and second in command of their Nighthawk Security Agency. His four brothers agree to take on her case.

A journey through blizzard conditions to keep this little family alive. What are these men after? Is it just a random act or is it personal? Can Brendan find the answers before he loses his heart to these two? God has a plan for these three, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, give Him your heart, give Him control, and watch Him turn your life around. I know this is a time when many live in total fear but God can make a way when there is no way. He can't take control unless you give Him the authority.

Because She Loved Me by Mia Dailey

My review today is on the Historical Romance, Because She Loved Me. This is my first book of Mia's I've read. I really enjoyed it although it brought back many memories. My husband was in Vietnam. It was a horrendous war that didn't end when the men came home. I could feel for this girl. I know you will too. This story is well written and heart warming. I know you are going to love it.

Gabriela Sanchez is head over heels in love. She will wait for her Marine as long as he's in Vietnam but he's not good at writing; then sends her a goodbye letter. Her heart is broken. Sometime later she sees his truck at his uncle's. She won't give up even after he tells her it's over.

Santiago Chevez didn't want Gabriela to wait. His father had died overseas; he was afraid to leave her and maybe a child on their own. When he returned home he was a different man. He had lost everything. He had nothing left to give. She would not leave him alone.

A heart warming story of a love that wouldn't let go. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.

Splash Down by Linda K. Rodante

My review today is on the Christian Contemporary Romance With Suspense, Splash Down. I really enjoy Linda's work and this book is no exception; it's well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Lynn Stapleton is trying to find her friend in the torrential rains of Hurricane Bella in Florida. They have called for an evacuation and she's been unable to find her friend at any of the shelters. She heads for the homeless tent city where she last saw her. What she finds is her friend's dead body lying under one of the demolished tents. When she calls for help a detective that she once met is in charge of the homicide. Lynn falls hard for the detective only to find out he might not be what she thinks he is.
Detective Rich Richards had seen Lynn at the abduction of a small child about a year ago. He found her fascinating then and even more so this time. When Lynn almost faints he allows her to leave with the address of where she will be staying. When he tries to contact her he can't find her and becomes upset. He is losing valuable time. His partner thinks Lynn might be involved in the incident. Rich doesn't believe that and is drawn to her as he investigates.
A journey of intrigue as they look for a killer and find themselves involved in a sex trafficking ring. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. In this trying time we are living in fear, terror, and violence is running a muck. God is our only answer. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in and protect you. God is so good.
