Her Billionaire Cowboy's Fake Marriage by Hope Moore

My review today is on the Western Romance, Her Billionaire Cowboy's Fake Marriage. This is the first book in the McCoy Billionaire Brothers Series. I have never read any of Hopes books before but I really enjoyed this book. It is well written, humorous, and very entertaining. I enjoyed the fact that even though the cowboy was a billionaire her life wasn't drastically changed.
Wade McCoy and his two brothers are listening to the reading of their grandfather's will. The will stipulates that that Wade as the oldest must marry with in three months and that he will have to stay married for three months to be able to keep the ranch and all the holdings. The two other brothers wouldn't hear their part of the will until Wade completed his obligations. Wade is furious but he tries. With only three days left he is beside him self and stops at a truck stop for coffee. He can't believe he is going to lose all he has worked his whole life for. He sits there for a long time. A waitress keeps  coming back to fill his coffee cup. She asks if he's hungry but he can't seem to answer.
Allie Jordan is working in the truck stop all alone, she notices the sad cowboy. She has sworn off of men but this man although gorgeous is different. Maybe because he is so sad. The sadness within her recognizes the same pain in his eyes. She finally orders the man some pancakes and some bacon. She brings them to him and sits to talk with him for a moment. He tells her an unbelievable story of how he must marry in two days or lose everything. The woman will be well paid for being his fake wife for three months. No woman seems interested in entering into a crazy business deal. She tells him of her fathers death and her mother being in a coma and needing money for her care. She will do it. They agree to meet the next day.
A humorous modern journey of a marriage of convenience. Allie has a hard time living a lie especially after their first kiss at the wedding. I know you are going to love it.

A Christmas Miracle for the Hopeless Rancher by Etta Foster

My review today is on the Historical Western Romance, A Christmas Miracle for the Hopeless Rancher. I enjoy Etta's books but I must tell you I didn't like the characters in the first part of the book. They were a bunch of whiners and complainers. You have to really feel bad for Louise. She had no idea what a mess she was getting into. This story is well written and the it will touch your heart.
Louise Moreau was brought up in Louisiana. Well off, her father refused to allow her to read books or newspapers, she was to be a lady. Louise had other ideas and answered a mail order bride ad. Her sister told her parents before Louise was ready. She ended up going to visit the man but had to take her older sister with her.  Luanne resented her sister finding a husband before her. Then she was forced to go with her. She threw herself at Jacob but he spurned her and made her even more resentful.Things were going fairly well between Richard and Louise until he has an accident.
Richard Hanson was the elder brother on the ranch. His brother Jacob resented everything about Richard, the golden boy. He gave his brother a terrible time about his mail order bride until she showed up, then he did everything he could to steal her away from his brother. Was the accident his fault? He never meant to hurt his brother permanently.
A terrible struggle of one woman trying to make a good situation out of a tragedy. God has a plan for these two families a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him a chance to turn your life around.

Blessing on the Run by Alana Terry

My review today is on the Christian Suspense, Blessing on the Run. I was sent this book to read, this review is my own work. I found the book interesting, well written, and so sad. The Persian Gamble by Joel C. Rosenberg

My review today is on the Christian International Thriller, The Persian Gamble. I know Joel is a best selling author and probably doesn't need my review but I love his work so I just have to share. I was thrilled when I was given this book as I usually can't afford to buy his work. I really liked in his acknowledgement when he talked of when he wrote his first book. He just wanted his parents to be able to find it. As an unpublished author I really appreciated that. We forget that great authors start out just like the rest of us. This is an awesome story right out of the newspapers of today. Needless to say it is well written, action paced,  and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.

Glory's Groom by Kathleen Ball

My review today is on the Historical Christian Romance, Glory's Groom. This is the third and last story in the Mail Order Brides of Spring Water Box Set. I have really enjoyed this series. The subject of abuse is hard to write about but it's an important subject. People especially women need to know there is life after abuse. You do not have to live in fear. I know I am a survivor myself and Jesus is the answer. This book is well written, heart breaking at times, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Glory Wigg is an orphan, she was raised in an orphanage. She was taught to teach but when the only mother she knew sent her out to build a school she wasn't sure how to deal with it. She was to answer a mail order bride ad and then build the school where ever she ended up Miss Wigg would supply the school. She wrote to the shortest ad and was soon on the road. When she arrives she is a mess; her clothes are dirty and torn, her hair is a rat's nest, and her bag is stolen. She doesn't know how to cook much as she was always reading books and she can't sew. Will he even want her? How can she tell him.
Corporal Kent Sandler was married once before but it was awful. He can't believe he sent for a mail order bride just to get a house. When she arrives she's a mess but he takes her home to his boss' wife. She cleans her up and gets her ready for the wedding. How could a city girl from New York City fit in? While he is trying to figure things out his mother-in-law speeds up to him and drops off a little two year old boy. His son he never knew about. Glory takes him and loves the little boy even though it is obvious something is wrong with the little guy. He couldn't talk, walk or crawl.
A journey of healing and restoration for this little family. God has a plan for them, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Shattered Trust by Kathleen Ball

My review today is on the Historical Western Romance, Shattered Trust. This is the second book in the Mail Order Brides of Spring Water Box Set. I really enjoyed this story although what this young woman went through was tragic. The story is well written, horrifying, and yet touching your soul. I know you are going to love it.
Parker Eastman and his wife are so happy together (book one) that his wife wants to bring more women and children to the ranch. He offers the first man to marry a new house. Several of his men take the bet but only one man sends an ad to get a mail order bride.
Sergeant Austin Maxwell, Max to his friends comes to meet his new bride only to find a woman with a baby in tow. She told him she was a widow of four years but said nothing of the tiny babe. Max is not sure what to think but he takes her back to the ranch where the town is there for his wedding. I really like Maggie's books and have enjoyed this series of the Henry brothers. It was good to read Jacob's story. The book is well written and action packed. I know you are going to love it.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer Jacob Henry is searching for three escaped convicts. He is in a helicopter looking for a heat signature on his small screen. He had to give up his brother's bachelor party and an important meeting about his sister's death years ago to make this search. He sees a heat signature but it's a woman not one of the convicts. As he watches he sees man following her. It's one of the convicts. Jacob repels out of the helicopter to try to help her. What he finds is a reporter he is drawn to, his worse nightmare. He must protect her. The helicopter must return for fuel leaving them on their own with the three killers and something else they didn't expect.
Crime Reporter Grace Finch was assaulted by an escaped convict. His rap sheet went before her eyes as he held a gun in her face. Grace had been brought up here by her secret biological father. He had been blackmailing her. He told her he had evidence that would free him and end the blackmail but she had to help him get free. He is one of the most hated criminals in the land. But before he finds her one of the other killers grab her. She is rescued by a Mountie that she knows well and is attracted to. Can they get out of this mess? Can she keep her secrets?
A terrifying journey as killers are surrounding them and the past seems to be coming alive in front of them. God has a plan for these two. A plan for a hope and a future; also ending the search for answers to the Faith Henry's death. God has a plan for you too. A good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
