Yukon Justice by Dana Mentink

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Yukon Justice. This is book seven in the series Alaska K-9 Unit. I'm a big fan of Dana's and I'm always thrilled to get a copy of one of her books in the mail. I have really enjoyed this series also; so this was a great thrill to get. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.

Katie Kapowski is the assistant to the Alaska K-9 Unit Colonel Lorenza Gallo. She has returned home to help her Aunt Addie. The ranch is comprised of rescued reindeer but three had been stolen. One was returned but two were still missing. Now she has found out that an uncle she never knew about is out to harm the ranch and her aunt. She's talking to one of the K-9 officers when she hears her aunt scream. Her aunt is shot and falls into the water. Katie jumps in after her. Her uncle stands on the dock with a gun pointed at her. Brayden showed up and the man runs.

Alaska State Trooper Brayden Ford and his K-9 partner show up just as a man tries to shoot Katie. Ella is a water rescue dog. She jumps in and finds Addie. Brayden gives CPR and her aunt revives. Brayden and Katie have some personal issues. Can they work together? Can he keep her safe?

A journey through a ranch under siege. Can they find the missing reindeer before Katie's uncle destroys the ranch, his sister, and his niece? Smoky Mountain Ambush by Karen Kirst

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Smoky Mountain Ambush. A Smoky Mountain Defenders Story. I'm a big fan of Karen's work. This is an excellent example of her writing. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.

Mounted Police Officer Foster "Silver" Williams doesn't understand why his employee Lindsey has quit working for him and took on updating a dilapidated camp. Why would she do that? His business is thriving. He thought she was happy working for him. He has come to convince her to come back. He finds her lying on the ground with an arrow sticking out of her back but it wasn't Lindsey. It is Thea her close friend in one of her blouses. 

Lindsey Snow had been hired by Silver's parents to spy on him. Feeling guilty at betraying him she quits and takes a job to redo the dilapidated Camp Smoky. It doesn't help that she has fallen in love with the man. Now that her life is in danger he's the only one that can save her.

Yuletide Cold Case Cover-Up by Jessica E. Patch

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Yuletide Cold Case Cover-Up. This is the third book in the series Cold Case Investigators. I'm a big fan of Jessica's work and I'm always excited to get one of her books in the mail. This book is well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.

Cold Case Agent Poppy Holiday returns to her one-time home when she receives word that her sister's remains have been found after seventeen years. Her remains were located at an old pump house at the bottom of an old dried-up well along with her student ID, purse, and wallet. She drives to the property. She must find the killer. Her sister is why she does what she's doing. She receives a call from her co-worker. As she puts on her winter coat she's attacked. She's stuffed in a trunk. When the trunk opened she nails him with the tire iron and takes off.

Cold Case Agent Rhett Wallace comes to help Poppy with the investigation. He had lost a sibling years ago and knows what she is going through. He books a room at the B&B. Calls Poppy and tells her to meet him at the B&B but decides to run out to the farm as she might be grieving and need a friend. He finds Poppy in the middle of the road being chased by an unknown man.

Enraptured Montana Bachelor by Ramona Flightner

 My review today is on the Historical Western Romance, Enraptured Montana Bachelor. This is book fourteen in the series Bear Grass Springs. I'm a big fan of Ramona's and was thrilled when she sent me this one. It's well written-written, action-packed, and full of drama.

Cole Tompkins is on his way home.  He has been taking cattle to Chicago for years but this is his last trip. He hates the thought of being stuck on the ranch. He's sitting there minding his own business when a beautiful woman lands in his lap. He talks her into sitting next to him. They visit and spend a lot of their time together. They are almost to Bear Grass Springs when there is an accident on the train. Mina is caught in the first-class car as it breaks out in flames. Cole is unable to get to her. He watches the car burn to the ground. He mourns for her as he goes out to the ranch.

Wilhelmina Lane is a widow. She spends every dime she has to go to Bear Grass Springs to find her brother. She falls for the cowboy in more ways than one. When she is caught in the burning car she is sure Cole will rescue her but that doesn't happen. She needs to save herself. She is badly burned and taken to the hotel. She finds her brother and he helps her. She is known as Willie not Mina. She is furious when she sees Cole months later.

Honor in the Mountain Refuge by Mistie M. Beller

 My review today is on the Historical Romance, Honor in the Mountain Refuge. This is book six in the series Call of the Rockies. I so enjoy Mistie's stories. I'm not sure where she gets her storylines but I love her work. This book is well-written, action-packed, and will touch your heart.

Telipe is about to give birth. Her husband had died, she had been kidnapped, rescued, and brought back to her brother's home. She knows he wants to marry her off but she doesn't want to marry the brave that he has chosen. As she is picking Chokecherries she sees the brave that kept her alive and well when she was kidnapped. He's a Blackfoot brave, an enemy to her people but she cares for him.

Chogan has been thrown out of his tribe and has come to make sure Telipe is well. He brings her meat other items she might need. He is caught by her tribe and held. Telipe's friends take him under their wings and help the couple.

Texas Christmas Refuge by Connie Queen

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Texas Christmas Refuge. Connie is a fairly new author for LIS. I really enjoy her work. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. I know you are going to love it.

Brandi Callahan is an emergency dispatcher. She receives a 911 call that can only be from her presumed-dead sister. The call takes her to her grandparent's barn. There in the tack room, she finds a toddler in grandpa's rusted-out truck. As she runs toward the house shots are fired. A deputy orders her to stop but as the shooting kept up he commands her to get down and calls for backup. She runs to her car as the deputy falls to the ground. What is going on? She goes to the only man she can trust.

Texas Ranger Rhett Kincaid had just finished a run when a car pulled into his drive. Who would be here at five fifteen in the morning? As Brandi got out of the car a second car came barreling down his drive. Shots are fired and Brandi takes off. Rhett jumps in his truck to help his ex-fiance. Who would be after Brandi? My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hiding His Holiday Witness. This is book four in the series Justice Seekers. I'm a big fan of Laura's work so I'm always thrilled to receive one of her books in the mail. This one is exciting; it's well-written, action-packed, and full of suspense. You can't beat that in my book. I know you are going to love it.

Robyn Lowry is in a small town in Colorado. She is with the witness protection and is awaiting to testify in the upcoming trial. Unable to sleep she hears a scratching sound. A sound she's never heard before. She grabs a sweatshirt and her shoes. The marshal assigned to her isn't in the living room nor is he out in his car. She hears glass breaking. She ducks behind the car and sees blood dripping from the trunk. She runs. At the church, she calls her other marshal but before she can tell him where she is and what is going on she falls down the basement steps.

Marshal Slade Brooks storms out of his room calling the other marshal. It goes straight to voice mail. Where is he? Where is Robyn? He calls his boss for backup. He sees the church. Robyn had insisted on going to church. She might hide there. At the back of the church, he dials her phone and can hear it ring inside the church. Kidnap Threat by Anne GalBraith

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Kidnap Threat. Anne is a fairly new author for LIS but I know you are going to welcome her with open arms. She does awesome work. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.
Widow Alice Benoit is packing up her things. She is moving out now that her son has moved away. She hears glass breaking. Someone is breaking into her home. Who would do that? She is just an ordinary person. Two men are talking, they are looking for her. She hides in the closet of the master bedroom and calls her friend to send help. Soon the sirens arrive and men her husband once worked with are there.
Police Department Superintendent Ben Parson arrives. He is anxious that his men are treating this as an ordinary breakin when he knows that's not what this is about. He has been sent here for just this event. He must keep Alice safe.
