Shattered Trust by Sara K. Parker

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Shattered Trust. I enjoy Sara's books and I'm sure you do too. She is fairly new in the LIS family but her stories are awesome. This book is well written, action packed and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.
Natalie Harper was left at the altar. She decided that the best way to survive the embarrassment was to take her honeymoon alone. The honeymoon is in Mexico and as she lounges at River Maya watching the sun go down she feels someone watching her. She gets up to go and finds a man standing at the end of her lounger. She takes off running but is soon caught and the man places a knife to her throat. There is no way out, she knows he is going to kill her. Suddenly a man comes to her rescue.
Shield Protection Services Bodyguard Luke Everett was hired for a light duty mission; to secretly protect Judge Harper's daughter. A week in Mexico, he loves that thought. It's late and he has looked all over for Natalie and is about to give up when he hears her scream. She makes a move and he attacks the man. The attacker runs off with her purse. So maybe this mission isn't going to be a cushy a job after all. He soon learns it will take all of his ability to keep her safe.
A terrifying journey of betrayal, secrets, and lost trust but God has a plan for these two. A plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a good plan and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life.
