Texas Witness Threat by Cate Nolan

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Texas Witness Threat. Cate is a fairly new author for LIS but I do really like her work. This story is well written, action packed, and full of drama. Faith is a vital ingredient in this book. I like that. I know you are going to love it.

Assistant US Attorney Christine Davis is on her way to work. She had to park her car quite a long distance from the office. As she is walking a sudden storm comes up. She stands in the doorway of a construction sight. The storm get worse and she slips inside the building. She hears men arguing and the one man kills the other. The dead man falls at her feet. She hides behind the plastic and finds a window that she can slip out. She runs out of the building and into the street. She is almost run over by a car. The man driving the car is a Texas Ranger and helps her.

Texas Ranger Blake Larsen is driving down the road when a woman runs into the road. He had been driving slowly because of the storm so he was able to miss her. He takes her to the hospital and listens to her story. When he reports the murder he is told there is no body. No one including her boss seems to believe her. Why? She is an important law enforcement officer, why treat her like she mentally deficient. Then someone tries to take her life in the hospital. He must protect this women if no one believes her.

A terrifying journey as the killer follows them all over Texas. The Texas Rangers believe her but no one else does. God has a plan for these two broken souls. He has a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him make a way where there is no way. God is our only hope in this time of chaos. Crime Scene Connection by Deena Alexander

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Crime Scene Connection. This is Deena's first book for LIS. It's an awesome book and I look forward for her next story. This one is well written, action packed, and full of drama. Faith is woven into this story like a well woven tapestry. Although it could be scary since I'm an author. It's like note to self, don't write a story about a serial killers. I don't want them coming after me.

Addison Keller is an author. She wrote a trilogy about a serial killer. In it she wrote about a nightmare she had been plagued with since a child as the first murder. After the release of the first book the killer began imitating her book in minute details. She began receiving pictures of the crime scenes in emails and threatening messages. Could the killer be her monster of an ex-husband? How can she stop the killer before he kills her sister? Can she trust the man her brother-in-law sent to rescue her?

Jace Montana was once a police officer until Maris, Addison's sister wrote an expose on Addison's husband and the police force. Jace had lost his job and crawled into a bottle. His wife had been killed and he became worse but a dog showed up on his doorstep and had turned him around. Conner (his best friend) called. He is married to Maris and he asks Jace to watch Addison and help her. When a man goes in her home in the middle of the night and Addison sneaks out the back window, he moves into rescue her. How can he keep her safe? Is it his old boss that's after her?

A journey of terror as the serial killer imitates her writing but quickly escalates. God has a plan for these two, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not destruction. Give Him your heart and watch move in your life, even in this time of turmoil.

His Pledge to Honor by Shanae Johnson

My review today is on the Romance, His Pledge to Honor. This is the first book in the series A Silver Star Ranch Romance. I really enjoy Shanae's stories. This is a delightful one. It's well written, humorous, and heartwarming. I know you are going to love it.

Scout Silver and her five sisters are called into the lawyer's office sometime after the death of their father, the General. They had all assumed Scout would have the ranch as she is the one that runs it. What they learn is that their father left a part to each of them under the stipulation that they all marry by the end of the year or the ranch goes to their (evil) step mother, Cruella. (She is also the mother of one of the daughters) How are they suppose to marry? Men just don't fall from the sky! Then Scout looks up from the horses she had been watching and there are six of the biggest, best looking men she had ever seen. Had the General sent them husbands?

Lincoln Rawlings and his men have been staying at the Purple Heart Ranch. The six men had each been wounded in their last mission. Their beloved General had been killed and so they had a new mission now. A vow to help the General's daughters anyway they could. They were after all called The President's Men. When Lincoln heard that all Scout needed was a husband he stepped up.

A truly delightful journey of marriage of convenience. A journey full of twists  and turns. I can't wait to read the next one.

After the rescue he finds  their lives are in danger and he must protect these two for someone is out to destroy them. Does it have something to do with her criminal father?

A journey of terror as someone refuses to give up but is out to kill them. The police want nothing to do with the whole situation. God has a plan for this little family. Although broken God can make a way where there seems to be no way. God can make a way for you too, even in this time chaos. Give Him your heart and stand strong. He's got this.

WAKE UP AMERICA !!

So this is an extra post and I'm doing something different. I have been watching my country fall apart this last year. I'm so disappointed in the United States of America. People, it's time to WAKE UP!! I just watched the Socialist, Communist  Party overthrow our government on Wednesday. Yes, two people were killed, both a part of the take over. I watched as our Senate and House representatives cowed and gave our nation over without a fight.

I watched as police opened the barricades and ushered in ANTIFA and BLM Militia into the most secure building in our country. I watch as the guards of the Capitol Building were sent home at 10:00 am. I saw them breach a window on the Senate side where NO ONe was on guard. I watched as these terrorist took pictures of themselves standing and sitting in these restricted areas giving victory signs. I saw their ANTIFA addresses on the bottom of their pictures they posted. Come on people!

We all know the election was rigged. Fraud was everywhere. Would anyone listen to the evidence? Right now a man is being prosecuted in Italy after admitting he hacked the Dominion machines. He is arrested and being dealt with but we did nothing. Our Supreme Court let us down because of fear of what would happen if they stood up. Our Vice President failed us when he didn't allow all the evidence to be shown. Our Senate and Representatives failed us when they refused to stand up for what is right. Where is your backbone?

Right now people are celebrating because they banned the President from twitter. Come on people. This isn't about President Trump. (although he is still my President) We just saw our country being taken over by these Communists. Joe and Kamala have told you exactly what they plan to do from day one. Joe is going to be thrown under the bus. We all know that. Kamala has already told us that the Christians are going to be thrown in jail.(although where she is going to put 75 million of us is up in the air. I'm sure she will have concentration camp built for us. She promised to hunt us down. Did any of you not listen to their speeches?

I thank God that there is a higher power working here. God loves this country and He is not finished with it yet. Yes, they took over but God is still moving. People wake up! You don't want to go down with the sinking ship when God shows up and shows off. You are about to see the wrath of Almighty God and it will be unlike anything you have ever seen. Pray that God will save your souls.

I know I'm putting myself at risk when I post this but people you need to hear the facts. I also know not many will be able to read this but I hope I can save at least one of you from destruction.

Veterinarian Kara Riley goes to check on her best friend's dogs. Walt had been her handler when she first entered WITSEC as a young teen. Now he is her best friend and had asked her to move to where he lives now. She looks in on the puppies then goes for a cup of coffee. She goes into his home but she hears arguing. When she hears a gun shot she hides in the closet. She can hear someone searching through things and then he leaves. She sends a text to her ex, a trooper. She checks on Walt only to find him dead. Then the killer returns. She runs in a flurry of gun shots. She jumps on her snow mobile and takes off but doesn't get far in the blizzard before she is shot.

Alaska State Trooper Shane Taylor has just checked an empty car during the blizzard when he received a text from his ex. Kara had broke up with him three months ago. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work for you even in this chaos. He is a very good God.
