Shielding the Baby by Laura Scott

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Shielding the Baby. This is the first book in the series Pacific Northwest K-9 Unit. This one is written by one of my favorite authors. Laura does such great work. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

PMK-9 Officer Danica Hayes is sent to a double homicide. When she arrives she sees her best friend run from the scene. How can that be? She must tell the woman's brother of her death. As she is leaving someone tries to abduct the man's nine-month-old-son. She must protect them as she tries to find the killer. It can't be her friend Mara.

Ex-military medic Luke Stark retired to take care of his infant son after the baby's mother died. His sister has been helping him to adjust to the baby's care. He has never been around children. Now Stacy is gone. He must find her killer and keep his son safe. He will team up with Danica.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Targeted in the desert. This is book six in the series Desert Justice. I'm a big fan of Dana's and I'm always thrilled to get one of her books. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

Felicia Tennison is on the run with a little sister she never knew she had. Someone is after them. Is family secrets the cause? Why would anyone try to harm them? Her only hope is her lost love, a man she never wanted to see again.

 My review today is on the Christian K-9 Romantic Suspense, Sealed with Honor. This is book two in the series Called to Protect. I enjoyed these books so much that although I finished the series I had to come back to the stories I missed. They are all well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love them.

Retired Navy SEAL Kayleb Tyson and his partner Sierra are trying to help his buddy Nico find the sister of their fallen comrade. She had taken off several months ago. The last contact anyone had was with a friend Charlette Cambridge. He has followed Charlette twice to an old warehouse that he assumes is a safe house for abused women and children.  My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Theme Park Abduction. This is Patsy's first book with LIS but I know you are going to join me in welcoming her. I look forward to her next book. This one is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.

Rebecca Salmon is at the park with her autistic son. They have come to the Adventure World Theme Park. Her twin brother Danny had to go undercover for the DEA. He left something that the drug cartel wanted. It is in the scavenger hunt that he set up for her son. Now that he's been abducted how is she supposed to find the clues meant for her son?

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Ranch Under Fire. This is Tina's first book for LIS. I want to welcome her to our group. This is a great read and I look forward to reading more of her work. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it. 

Bookkeeper Bailey Scott is running late to work at the surgical office. She's in the walk-in closet when a man comes in yelling for the doctor. He proceeds to shoot the young receptionist. A few minutes later two more shots are fired. Bailey takes off. She's rescued by the handyman.

Guarding His Child by Karen Kirst

I must apologize for last week. I was down with a serious chest cold. I know some people can still create and write when they are ill but it doesn't work for me.  

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Guarding His Child. Karen is an excellent author and I know you are going to appreciate her skills in writing this book. It's action-packed and full of faith. You can't loose with that combination.

Deputy Skye Saddler is about to lose her home. She was worried about how her boss would take the news. He wouldn't want a homeless deputy. She is called out and finds a young woman dying in a pool of blood. She recognizes the woman as her best friend in high school, Lucy. Lucy tells her the baby is Nash's daughter. Baby where's the baby? She hears a crash and is shoved into a dirty glass window. As she walks across the yard to follow the assailant, she finds a young girl about two in the back of her mother's car.

Rancher Nash Wilder can't deny the child looks like him, she has the Wilder eyes but no sooner as he accepts he could be her father bullets start flying. Can this ex-Marine keep these girls from being murdered? Who could be after them?

Alaskan Avalanche Escape by Darlene L. Turner

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Alaskan Avalanche Escape. This is a K-9 Search and Rescue Story. I'm a big fan of Darlene's. I love getting her books in the mail. I really enjoy the K-9 books so this was a great read. It is well-written, action-packed, and full of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.

Jayla Hoyt is a mountain survival expert. After surviving an avalanche Jayla and her K-9 discover it was no accident but was set off deliberately. Her boss is sent over a crevice in the ice. To investigate she must team up with a man she doesn't trust. It soon becomes obvious that they are both targets.

Alaska Park Ranger Bryson Clarke noted the  contorted expression on Jayla's face. She isn't happy to see him. He doesn't blame her. Their last mission didn't go so well but they cab do this. Can he keep her safe as they become targets for the killers?

Kidnapped in Texas by Virginia Vaughan

 My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Kidnapped in Texas. The first book in the series Cowboy Protectors. I'm always glad to get one of Virginia's books in the mail. She's one of my favorite LIS authors. This is a great story. I know you will love the characters, action scenes, and her faith base. This is an awesome book and you will love it.

FBI Agent Luke Harmon witnessed an abduction. He vows to bring the girl back to his ex, her aunt. He has no idea the girl is really his daughter. How can he team up with Abby without loosing his heart again?

Abby Mitchell wasn't ready to be a mom when her boyfriend left. She had no way to tell him of the baby so she gave the child to her married sister. Now after her sister's death she is raising her daughter. Should she tell Luke the girl he is trying to rescue is his own daughter? Why is anyone after the girl?
