River Ranch Brides by Abigail Eldan

My review today is on the Historical Romance, Texas Triad. This is a three book set. This book was sent to me to read. I am not required to review it but I think you will really like it so I am reviewing it. I have never read any of Abigail's books but I look forward to reading more of her work. These stories are well written and full of twists and turns.I know you are going to love it.
Book One
Robbie and Taron
Roberta is a doctor traveling with her parents. Her parents are taken with a fever and she is force to stop their travel and care for them. A cowboy rides by and leaves food for them. After their death he helps her and takes her to his cabin. They soon marry.
Taron is hiding out in a cabin. He's trying to figure out a way to help his brother. His brother had been arrested for horse stealing and he will be arrested if they find him. He needs to find someway to help. He is blown away when he sees Robbie and helps her anyway he can.
Book Two
Libby and Ander
Libby is the pastor's daughter. She has helped Robbie in many ways and when Robby and Taron go to Texas  she goes with them, she's to be their baby's nanny. She is stuck in the back of the wagon with Ander, Taron's brother. Why wasn't he out there riding his horse instead of crowding her in the back of the wagon? Why wasn't he more like his brother? Ander came up north to find his brother. He had found him but ended up in jail for horse stealing and later murder. They were free now but Taron was bring all these people home with him. More mouths to feed and a baby on the way. How was Ander to take care of all of them?
Book Three
Abby and Joshua
Abby's husband ran off with the housekeeper leaving her alone with three children and another one on the way. Why is she drawn to Joshua the man who took her husband's place. He is three and a half years younger and she is very pregnant. Why can't she stop thinking of him? Why would he want to be with her?
Joshua thought Abby was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen when she first came to the ranch nine years ago. He hated how her husband had treated her but there was nothing he could do. After her husband leaves he realizes that he loves the woman and wants more than anything to marry her. How can he win her heart when she won't let him near her.
A journey of three couples, broken souls in need of help. Drawn together by God to heal. God has a plan for these three couples; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for good and not for evil.

Bodyguard for Christmas by Carol J. Post

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Bodyguard for Christmas. I really enjoy Carol's stories. She writes a great suspense. This book is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. She weaves her faith throughout the story like a beautiful tapestry. I know you are going to love this book.
Assistant District Attorney Colton Gale returns home to find his home has been broken in to and someone is carrying off his son. He runs after the man and he throws the child to the ground. They had not only tried to kidnap his son; they had drugged his dog, knocked his babysitter unconscious, tied her up, and hid her in the closet. Is this the work of one of the men he has put in jail? His neighbor comes to help him as he deals with his traumatized three year old. 
Ex-military police officer Jasmine McNeal sees something is wrong and runs to help her neighbor. As a member of the Burch Security Specialists her boss calls with a new assignment for her. When she arrives she finds Colton Gale is her new client. He didn't appear happy to see she would be his new bodyguard, he wants someone intimidating. Can she be involved in their protection without becoming involved emotionally? Will getting close to these two be the only way to protect them?

Holiday Amnesia by Lynette Eason

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Holiday Amnesia. This is the seventh book in the Wrangler's Corner Series. I really enjoy Lynette's books and I'm always thrilled to get one in the mail. This series has been awesome. This story is well written, action packed and full of faith. You can't beat that formula. You are going to love this one.
Dr. Robin Hardy is in her lab at the university when she hears arguing and then witnesses a murder. She runs to the restroom and locks herself in. The lab explodes and she is thrown down and hits her head on the tile floor. She struggles to escape by breaking out a window. She is then chased by the attackers. She is rescued by a fellow professor. Can she trust him? Why can't she remember what happened? Why are these men after her?
Former CIA Professor Toby Potter sees Robin's car in the parking lot. He has come to apologize to her. He has kept things from her and it has harmed their relationship. Being undercover and investigating the lab there were things he couldn't share. But he has come to care deeply for Robin. He runs toward the explosion to try to find her. He must save her. More explosions are taking place but the heat is unbearable. He goes to the back door to get in and search for her but didn't find her. He gives up and heads for his car when he hears a crash and sees someone escape from a broken window. He follows and find her but there are men waiting for her. Can he keep her safe? Will she let him after their fight?
A struggle of two broken souls struggling to find answers for the attacks and why someone wants them dead and what is going on at the lab. God has a plan for these two; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. You might not have killers out there chasing you but you do have an enemy that is out to steal, kill, and destroy you and your family. (Most people don't even believe he is real) Give God your heart and watch Him turn things around. Jesus said I came to give life and that more abundantly. God is so good.

Military K-9 Unit Christmas

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Military K-9 Unit Christmas. This book consists of two novellas that end the Military K-9 Unit Continuity Series. I have really enjoyed this series and these two stories are an excellent ending for the series. These stories are well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love this book.
Christmas Escape 
Valerie Hansen
Veterinary Assistant Rachel Fielding loves her job working with the military K-9 dogs. She works at Canyon Air Force Base in Texas. These dogs fill her void of no husband and kids of her own. Stryker, a three legged dog is her favorite. Rachel gets a phone call telling her that her estranged sister has been injured and she needs to go to the hospital immediately. Had her abusive boyfriend hurt her? Her boss, Kyle arranges for leave and then takes her to see her sister. She's scared when they get to the hospital, is Peter there? When he shows she knows she must run. She has to protect her niece.
Veterinarian Captain Kyle Roake knows what it feels like to not be able to say goodbye to a loved one. He was too late to kiss his wife and daughter goodbye and he still isn't over that. He not going to let that happen to Rachel. They soon find out that the man who beat her sister and left her for dead is here at the hospital and he is mad. He must protect Rachel and the child.

Senior Airman Jacey Burke is walking across the base on her way home when someone pushs her out into the street into the path of an on coming truck. She is rescued by a man she hasn't seen for ten years.
She tells him she was pushed but he doesn't seem to believe her either. Ever since she came to this base strange things have happened to her but no one will believe her. That's what her stalker wants them to believe. The stalker is escalating. The cops refuse to believe her and it doesn't help that she had filed charges against her boss back in the middle east when he had made advances to her and refused her promotion.
Staff Sergeant Sean Morris is with the Special Forces. She told him her story. He hasn't heard any of the gossip she has heard and he is determined to keep her and her K-9 safe for Christmas. He couldn't believe her allegations were deemed not credible against her boss. He doesn't want to believe that the man is trying to shut her up permanently. Could he be the killer? Who else would want her dead?

Perilous Christmas Reunion by Laurie Alice Eakes

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Perilous Christmas Reunion. This is the first book that Laurie has written for LIS. I really enjoyed this story and hope to read more of her work. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I always like that. I know you are going to love it.
Lauren Wexler lives out in the middle of now where. Her father and her brother are criminals; because of them she has lost the love of her life when he goes into law enforcement. There is a bad storm coming. She looks out the picture window and sees her brother running toward her house. As he makes it to her porch he falls to the ground as gunshots sound. Was he wounded? He presses something into her hand and then runs away. He leaves a trail of blood. She dives for the floor of the deck behind the wood pile as more shots are fired. She hears someone yell "Freeze! Deputy US Marshal!" I couldn't be him. There must be thousands of Marshals. No there he is! The one man she loves and can't have.
US Marshall Chris Blackwell figures his escaped prisoner will head for his sister. He arrives to gunshots, The brother has escaped but these men are shooting at Lauren. He grabs Lauren as she tries to come out from the woodpile and shoves her back to safety. He leaps for her but is wounded and falls beside her buried under the woodpile. Lauren helps him up and cares for his wound.
A journey of two soulmates that are meant to be together. Family and situations have pulled them apart but God has a plan to bring them back together. God has a plan for a hope and a future for them. God has a plan for you too. No matter what your circumstance are He will make a way where there is no way but you must give Him your heart and let Him take control of your life. I guarantee it will be greater than you ever dreamed.

Sacrificing the Untamed Lady Henrietta by Hanna Hamilton

My review today in on the Historical Regency Romance, Sacrificing of the Untamed Lady Henrietta. I was asked to read this story and I'm not required to review it but I really enjoyed the book so here is my review. This story is well written, humorous, and just a bit of intrigue. I know you are going to love it.
Henrietta is the only daughter of an Army General. Her greatest desire is to become a physician. Unfortunately her father refuses to allow her to read  anything other than romances. She hides as she seeks knowledge. She sends applications to several medical universities. Her father finds the answers to those letters and tells her he is through dealing with her disobedience and that she is to be married in a month's time. Then he locks her in her bed chambers and doesn't allow her out. She is not allowed to meet the man before the wedding. The man takes one look at her and runs off. What is she to do now?
Marquess Ewan Clark lost his wife in childbirth. It had only been a year and still he can't seem to live without her. His father the Duke of Everly, is worried about him. When Ewan finds himself thinking of suicide he agrees to straighten up and marry a woman his father has chosen. He is disturbed when his unable to meet the woman but when he lifts her veil he see the woman who he has just lost. How could his parents pick a woman who looks just like his late wife?

Lone Star Christmas Witness by Margaret Daley

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Lone Star Christmas Witness.  This is the fifth book in the Lone Star Justice Series. This is a great read and I know you are going to love it. This book is well written, action packed, and full of faith. Margaret is an awesome author.
Texas Ranger Taylor Blackburn is called to a mass shooting in the Premier Medical Clinic. When he is checking out the carnage he finds a small boy hiding in a cabinet. Evidently his mother hid him before she was gunned down. Could he have seen the killer? He must keep this child and his beautiful aunt safe.
Office Manager Sierra Walker works in the Premier Medical Clinic with her sister. She just left the accountant's office and is headed to the clinic to pick up her nephew. Ben had been ill and Sierra promised to keep him today and work from home. When she turns on to the street to the clinic, she sees police cruisers parked along the street in front of the clinic lights flashing. Terrified she tries to enter but is escorted to a Texas Ranger. What has happened to her family?

Merciless by Tamara Leigh

My review today is on the Medieval Romance, Merciless. This is the first book of the Age Of Conquest Series. I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book. It was my Birthday present to my self (I just don't buy books) but I love Tamara's books. This book is well written, action packed, and full of romance. I loved it. I know you will too.
After the Battle of Hastings, England is in turmoil, Chevaliar Cyr D'Argent (Merciless Cyr) and his family come to England to fight for the Norman cause. They win a tremendous battle but as Cyr looks for his uncle and brothers he find his uncle has died. It appears the great warrior has died at the hands of five young boys. A hard thing to happen. One of his brothers is missing and one has lost his arm, Cyr meets a young woman on the battle ground. She is a servant looking for the boy in her charge. He ends up helping the woman and is unable to get her out of his mind. After he has left England and returned to France he is drawn to God and a priest who mentors him. Two years later he is given his choice of lands as a reward; he heads for Wulfenshire, he must find his missing brother and the woman with no name.
Aelfled of Wulfen has sworn her life to her lady. She is in charge of her lady's son. The boy takes his friends and runs off to the battle. She is out looking for him; when she finds him and his friends on top of a Norman Warrior all of them dead she is beside herself. A silver haired warrior does everything in his power to protect her from the Normans salvaging the battle field. When she insist on moving her lady's son and then the boys so their bodies won't be desecrated he helps her for a time. She finds later he has moved all the boys and covered them so they weren't found. She has lost her faith and allows herself to be used by the rebels to fight the Normans. She can't forget the man who helped her even though he is her enemy.
These two broken souls are forced to remain apart because they are enemies. Can Cyr keep Aelf safe as her own people believe she has betrayed them? My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cold Case Christmas. I always enjoy Jessica's books. She writes a great intrigue. This book is well written, fast paced, and action packed. She has interwoven her faith throughout the story like a well made tapestry. I know you are going to love it.
Chief Meteorologist Nora Livingston lost her job. She has put in for a job in Florida but decides to go home early for the Holidays. She doesn't want anyone to know of her problems. She arrives to find out that they have finally found her mother's car and hopefully her body. Nora could never believe that her mother would just take off and leave her family. She is determined to find answers. Someone took her mother's life and she would prove it even if she has to work with Rush the one man she loved and left. As threats and attacks follow wherever she goes she knows she is on the right track. Can she find the answers?
Chief Deputy Sheriff Rush Buchanan is called to the Shepherd Rock Lake. They have found a car and dragged it from the lake. The car is a Jaguar belonging to Mary Livingston; she has been missing for seventeen years. A skeletal body is all that they have found along with a silver cuff link, a partial man's masquerade mask, her bags, and a lot of money. She was the mother of the woman he thought he was going to marry. After her mother's disappearance Nora withdrew and finally left town. Now she would be back. The sheriff felt like it was pretty much a cut and dried case and wanted to close the case right a way. Rush knew Nora would never go for that. Valiant Defender by Shirlee McCoy

My review today is on the Love inspired Suspense, Valiant Defender. This is the eighth book in the Military K-9 Unit Continuity Series. This has been a great series and I'm sure you have been loving it. This book like all of Shirlee's books is well written, action packed and full of faith. You are going to love it.
Captain Justin Blackwood has spent the last seven months tracking a killer. The last few months he has been working with a fellow officer assigned to him to observe his K-9 Unit. He has come to really enjoy his relationship with the Captain. He will hate to see her leave. He believes he's closing in on the Red Rose Killer, then his teenage daughter is abducted and now it has become personal.
Captain Gretchen Hill has been assigned to partner with Captain Blackwood to learn all about the K-9 Unit. She will soon return to her home base and start a K-9 Unit at Minot Air Force Base. She has been involved with the search for the Red Rose Killer for these last few months. Something in her died when her fiance` had died four years ago, so how can she be drawn to this man and his daughter.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Christmas Under Fire. This is third book in the Mountie Brotherhood Series. This book is well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Cally Roslin comes to British Columbia to enjoy Christmas and the wedding of her good friend. She needs to get away from a controlling family. She comes from the land of Amar. In her country she is just one of many in a large royal family but since she is traveling in Canada they have decided she is an important foreign dignitary. She lands at an airport that closes as she is in the rest room. She comes out to find herself under attack in an empty building. A Mountie comes to her rescue.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police Officer Aaron Thrace is to escort Cally to a rental at Fort Mason. She is here to attend the wedding of her friend and Aaron's brother. He arrives in time to see her attacked. He is able to catch her before she falls to the floor. He wants to run after the assailant but he must help this woman. After multiple attacks Aaron is sure she is the target. He must keep her safe even through the blizzard wrecking havoc over the area.

The Honorable Rosalind's Heart by Bridget Barton

My review today is on the Regency Romance, The Honorable Rosalind's Heart. I haven't read any of Bridget's work before but I did really enjoy this story. The book is well written, humorous, and heart warming. I'm sure you are going to love it.
Rosalind Danvers is about to embark on her third season. Her parents have made it clear that she would find a husband this time. She is not so sure. Her best friend has found her soul mate but Rosalind hasn't found anyone. Her parents arrange a courtship with the Earl of Frinton. He is handsome but she hasn't missed his wandering eye. How can she get her parents to understand that he was not the right man for her? Her best friends boyfriend introduces her to his cousin the Duke of Langdale. The man is arrogant and cynical and has no desire to marry. They are instantly oil and water. They are unable to have an ordinary conversation, all they do is argue but are drawn to each other.
The Duke of Langdale, Heath, is ex-military and jaded. He was forced to leave the military when his father died at an early age. His mother is trying to force him to marry a girl that is only interested in his title. He is intrigue when he meets Rosalind, she isn't like any other woman he has ever met. Her family is trying to force her to marry a man unworthy of her. Will she ever get the courage to stand up to her parents?
A journey full of pot holes in an established society. Others are trying to force these two to do what they want them to do. Can they stand up to the people they love and still live their own lives?

Christmas With the Enemy by Mary Vee

My review today is on the romance, Christmas With the Enemy, A Blizzard Novel. I haven't read any of Mary's book before but I really enjoyed this one and hope to read more of her work. This book is well written, humorous, and heart warming. You are going to love this one. The story of a long feud between two families that had once been close knit.
City girl Samantha, Sam, Windermere has come up to the family lodge. Her father had bribed her to come for the holidays by paying her student loans. Her family was to arrive before her but hadn't arrived yet. She found a pot of stew on the stove and was enjoying it when a mountain man burst through the door. Both  claimed to own the lodge and refused to budge. Come to find out, although this was the Winermere's week at the lodge no one had been here these last three years so Hank Tucker came up each year and did repairs and cleaning before his family came in the next week. Sam is not about to leave though it's her week.
Hank Tucker is a rancher. He comes up each year to clean and repair the lodge. His family would be here next week. He is shocked to find a beautiful city girl eating his food and messing up his sofa. He ends up helping the girl. She can't seem to do anything. They are trapped in the lodge by a blizzard. Neither can leave. He received a note from his sweetheart before he arrived. Now reading the letter he finds his sweetheart is off to the city. His heart is broken. What else can go wrong?

Amish Christmas Emergency by Dana R. Lynn

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Amish Christmas Emergency. This is book five in the series Amish Country Justice. I've said many times that I love Amish stories and I love suspense so I'm always thrilled when I get one of Dana's books. This story is well written, action packed and full of faith. You just can't beat that. You are going to love this one.
Nurse Practitioner Alexa Grant is concerned when one of her Amish patients miss his appointment. He is always early. It is snowing, could he have had an accident? She can't help the feeling that something was wrong. Noah finally shows up only to be shot as he enters the door. The police come to help.
Sergeant Gavin Jackson arrives at the scene. He takes charge and sends men out to find the sniper. He goes to talk to the nurse practitioner; she is the prettiest woman he's seen in a long time. As he's talking to her a delivery of flowers arrives for Alexa. It contains a single red rose and a threatening note. Gavin must keep this woman safe.

This Homeward Journey by Mistie M. Beller

I'm getting behind on my reviews again and since most of them are Christmas stories I'm going to be doing some extra post this week and next.
My review today is on the Historical Novel, This Homeward Journey. This is the fifth book in the Hearts of the Mountains Series. I love Mistie's books and this one didn't let me down; it's awesome. You will need to wrap up in a blanket when you read it. It's description of the frozen North will have you shivering and reaching for hot cocoa.
Rachel Bray is a widow with a twelve year old son. After the death of her abusive husband; a mean drunk and a gambler. She sells what is left after the creditor take what is owed and buys two horses and two guns and heads to Canada to find her brother. Her son although only twelve is almost the size of a man and works harder than all the men she's known. She is determined to go alone and through the mountains. She asks a clerk in Montana if he has a map for the mountain trail. He tries to talk her out of going that way but finally agrees to draw her one. When they are attacked by a bear she decides to join the man who came to talk to her. She watches them first to make sure all is safe.
Seth and Samuel Grant are on their way to Canada to join their brother and sister. They left California with a guide, Elias Benbow; they stop in Montana and talk to a clerk. He tells them that a woman is also going that route. Seth goes to talk to the woman but she refuses to go with them. It easy to tell she fears them. A couple of nights later they hear a couple of shots and Seth hopes the woman is okay. She joins them a couple of nights later for safety sake she says but she and her son will stay off to the side and form their own camp.
This is a journey across treacherous terrain, Indians, and vicious outlaws. God has a plan for these travelers, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you two, a plan for a hope and a future. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Uncommon Ground by Joy Ohagwu

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Uncommon Ground. This is book one in the Pleasant Hearts Series. I don't think I have read any of Joy's books before; I will read more of her work. I was asked to read this one and wasn't required to review it. I felt I must review it because I really enjoyed it and I want to share it with you. This book is well written, action packed and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Today is Stella Heart-Parsons last day. She has been working in a medical research lab and as she returns to pack up more of her things she fine some kind of an issue with her young assistant and her seventeen year old daughter, Sharon. The two refuse to answer her question but before figuring out what is going on, there is something booming outside; the glass windows shatter, the floors quake, the road outside the window goes up like a wave and then comes down splitting the ground wide open. They run for their lives but somehow they are separated. Sharon gets on a bus but Stella can't get to it on time. She starts a journey to find her daughter and get them to safety. The world seems to be torn apart as Stella travels on her search. She is rescued by a man named Michael. He agrees to help her find her daughter.
Michael Huddleston is on a retreat. His boss, the pastor sent him out to a place in the mountains to get closer to God. The place is worse than rustic and he decides he is going to go back early. He can't stay a week in this place. Three men come and take over the camp. He rescues Stella and then must keep her safe from the three men. The leader agrees she can stay if she shares Michael's room. Michael cares for her injuries but on the second night the men are drunk and come after Stella. They must run for their lives.

Amber Alert by Linda K. Rodante

My review today is on the Christian Contemporary Romance with Suspense, Amber Alert. I received this book to read. I am not required to review it but it is an awesome book and I want to share it with you. The book is well written, humorous, and full of suspense. Faith is a powerful force in this book and I love that. You are going to love this story.
Sharee Jones is a volunteer at New Life Church and works at Downtown Ministries. She and her friend Lynn are hosting a baby shower but Sharee needs some air. There are a couple of teens who are talking trash about her friend Marci. Marci is about to give birth to her seventh child and everyone seems to have something to say about her and her family. As Sharee is walking about a dog comes running at her carrying something in his mouth. (she's afraid of dogs) It turns out to be a doll that has been mutilated. The eyes are blacked out and a red slash is across the neck. She gives the doll to the maintenance man, John, (the dogs owner) and he carries it off. Sharee returns to the shower. Several threats and more dolls show up. Will someone try to hurt the new baby? Can John help her find the one who is threatening? Is this but a teenage prank? Sharee has a vision for a Christmas program. She must run it by John to see if its feasible. John agrees but it means spending time with the gorgeous man. Can she handle that?
John Jergenson is the Pastor's cousin. He has come to the church to try to heal after the death of his wife three years ago. He doesn't want to be attracted to Sharee. They find another doll sitting in a car seat. More threats are coming. A doll on Sharee's front door. How can he keep her safe? Who is doing this?

Deadly Christmas Duty by Virginia Vaughan

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Deadly Christmas Duty. This is the second book in the Covert Operatives Series. I really enjoy Virginia's books and I'm always thrilled to get a copy in the mail. This book is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. Faith is interwoven throughout the book like a fine tapestry. You're going to love this story.
Prosecutor Melinda Steele is a single mother. She thought her problems were over when her abusive husband died. She returns to her office but the door is ajar. She entered but finds nothing out of order. The office is empty. A man comes to the door and wants to talk to her about his missing sister. Melinda agrees to help him try to find her and reaches down for her briefcase. She finds a bomb; someone wants to kill.
Navy SEAL turned security operative Noah Cason has returned home to find out what happened to his sister. She has been missing for one hundred and twenty five days. He is sure her abusive husband is the one who is at fault. He wants justice. Cold Pursuit by Susan Sleeman

My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Cold Pursuit. This is the sixth book in A Cold Harbor Novel Series. I was thrilled to get this book. I so enjoy all of Susan's books. This series has been special. I know you feel that way too. I'm not sure how Susan keeps coming up with new idea's and plots but she is an awesome author. This story is well written, action packed, and full of intrigue. Faith is a vital part of each of her stories. It is an awesome story and I know you will love it.
Whitney Rochester is attacked by her brother-in-law just a few feet from the hospital where she works. Percy had been arrested after killing his wife but he has broken out of jail. He plans to kill her and take his two children and run. She plans to keep him from doing that.  A car pulls up and she is released. A huge man overtakes Percy and she runs. She takes the kids and moves to a resort where she waits tables. A man harasses her at work;  another man tries to come to her aid, only makes things worse for her. She leaves work. A man next to her on the porch is shot and she runs. Has Percy found her? How will she keep the kids safe. An avalanche buries her car and she is trapped; not only is she trapped but the man who tried to help her thinks she killed the man. She finds he is part of a security company; will he protect her and the kids?

He makes a mess of everything  and she leaves, when he hears a gun shot and thinks it she been shot he looses it. They soon find that Whitney and the kids are in danger.
