Chasing Justice by Valerie Hansen

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Chasing Justice. This is book three in the continuity series Mountain Country K-9 Unit. I love the continuity series that LIS does each year. Probably because they use some of my favorite authors. Valerie is indeed one of my favorites. This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Mountain Country K-9 Task Force Officer and a former sheriff's deputy Selena Smith has come home with her K-9 partner. Searching for the Rocky Mountain Killer. The sheriff has her escorting the van carrying a prisoner from a court case. The man is the only man she has ever loved. As they were on a mountain road a box truck attacked the van and it went over the deep ravine. Brokenhearted she went down to see if he survived.

Finn Donovan was not only seat belted in but he was hand cuffed to a chain. The guard in the back with him refused to unchain him. The guard was hurt, he couldn't see the driver. A woman and a dog came and spoke to the dispatcher stating the driver was dead. Selena! Could it possibly be her? She uncuffed him then helped the guard. As they were fleeing from the van a shot rang out. Finn had tripped a almost fallen down. The guard took the bullet. They had to get out of there.

A harrowing journey to stay one step a head of the killer. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

Shielding the Innocent Target by Terri Reed

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Shielding the Innocent Target. I'm a big fan of Terri's work so I'm always glad to receive one in the mail. This book is well-written, action-packed, and of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Paralegal Paige Walsh was  on her way to her boss' office when she heard voices. As she stood there her boss was murdered. She gasped and the gunman came after her. She ran down the stairs and to the security guards. They called for help and the police arrived. She was with a police officer on the way to pick up her son when they were ran off the road. Paige was trapped in the backseat. The gunman shot out the window and tried to pull her out by her hair when siren sounded. Shots were fired and the shooter was forced to run but Paige had been shot.

Deputy US Marshal Lucas Cavendish was sent to bring a witness, a woman and her son, back to headquarters while they made a relocation package. He wasn't happy babysitting. He would do what his boss required. The files were missing so the case the prosecutor was working on would have to be postponed. The shooter was a man he had dealt with in the past a man he believed to be dead, he called him "The Beast" He would take this job!

A horrifying journey to stay a step a head of a coldblooded killer. God has a plan for these three, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not destruction even in this time of chaos. Trust Him and let go. He will turn your life around.

Hidden in the Night by Elizabeth Goddard

My review today is on the Christian Romantic Suspense, Hidden in the Night. This is book three in the series Missing in Alaska. Elizabeth is one of my all time favorite authors. I'm always thrilled when she writes a new book. I love that she does series so you can see how the people grow. As a writer myself I don't know how she keeps coming up with new ideas. This book is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going to love it.

Former FBI Agent Ivy Elliot comes to Alaska to find a lost manuscript. Her father and her sister wanted this work of Jack London more than anything. They are both dead now and her mother has cancer and wants to get the manuscript in memory of them. Unknown to her mother, her new boyfriend has threatened Ivy so she must find it to save her mother's memory of her father. She does hope to meet the State Trooper she had been trapped in a storm with last February. She hadn't been able to forget him. Imagine her surprise when she finds he is the Trooper she will work with.

Alaska State Trooper Nolan Long is about to take a vacation to Florida to see his "Sunshine Girl" (Ivy Elliot)when she shows up on his door step. She is looking for a manuscript but a young native girl has it and she has disappeared. Nolan agrees to help her find the girl and hopefully the manuscript.

An incredible journey across Alaska as they brave blizzards, sabotage, and killers. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around even in this time of political chaos.

Robin's Gift by Crystal M. M. Huntley

My review today s on the Christian Novel, Robin's Gift. I come from an abusive marriage so I know that Jesus is the only answer to such pain and heart ache. I know what it takes to start over and yet having to deal with those inner demons. This is a beautiful story that will touch your heart.

Natalie struggled but survived an abusive home. She had two friends who were there for her. As soon as she was able, she left the pain and hurt to start over in another place. Her past haunted her even as she tried to start over. Would she ever be whole again. Natalie finds herself on a new path. A path toward healing.

Her two best friends search for her. They feel an urgency to find her. They will never give up in their quest. In spite of her past Natalie finds that life is worth living and that God loves her and holds her in the palm of His hand. He has never left her and is waiting with open arms. A beautiful story of the prodigal son (daughter) in the modern day world we live in. I know you are going to love this book. There is life after abuse, trauma, and pain.

Cold Case Tracker by Maggie K. Black

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Cold Case Tracker. This is book one in the series Unsolved Case Files. I always enjoy Maggie's work. This story is one of her best. It's well-written, action-packed, and full of adventure. I know you are going to love it.

Amy Scott was getting ready to close up shop. Her best friend Gemma had disappeared and Amy was determined to keep the shop going until her return. She noticed a man and his dog watching the store. She had seen him before. She drew a quick sketch of him but then noticed he was gone. She had just closed the shop when the lights went out. When she turned there was a man in a ski mask. He put a cloth bag over her head and said she was going to help him find what he was looking for.

Sergeant Jackson Locke of the RCMP's Ontario K-9 Unit  was in Clearwater to investigate his sister's disappearance. He only had forty eight hours. He didn't expect to find Amy here. He planned to interview Amy, his sister's best friend, and his one time crush. After he and his partner had paced around the town for three hours he decided to pack it in and head for a motel. He drove around to the alley, he needed to talk to her even if she still hated him. A man was dragging her out the back door. He called, "Stop! Police!" the man dropped her and ran. He tried to take the bag off her head when she sprayed him with bear spray.

A terrifying journey to find Gemma and the men who were trying to stop them. God has a plan for these three (she has an unborn daughter) a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for harm even in this time of political unrest and chaos. Give Him your heart and watch Him turn your life around.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Yukon Wilderness Evidence. This is a book in the Crisis Rescue Team Series. I'm a great fan of Darlene's work and was thrilled to get this one in the mail. I'm a little late posting. I was very ill and then my granddaughter came and cleaned my house. She moved all the books I had finished reading and I couldn't find them. Hard to believe I know but it is true. I finally found them today. (I have books everywhere) This story is well-written, action-packed, and full of drama. I know you are going love it.

She looks at her watch and realizes the Constable and Cameron have been gone for a long time. She needs to find them. She finds one dead and the other dying. Help comes but it is the man who fathered her son years ago. Suddenly she is held captive and is taken away. Is this the end or can someone help her?

Paramedic Brett Ryerson is shocked to find the woman who he let slip away. She is being held at knife pint just as his partner had been. He must save her. The second Constable is taken down and the men run off with the love of his life. He must find her.
