Two Hearts Rescue by Daniel Banner

My review today is on the Romance Two Hearts Rescue. This is a Park City Firefighter Romance. I really enjoyed this book. It's well-written, humorous, and heart-warming. I know you are going to love it.

Veterinary Poppy Mercier is not enough; not thin enough, not smart enough, not feminine enough, not pretty enough, just not enough. Her mother makes sure she is aware of it each time she sees her. Poppy comes from a wealthy family but has never fit it. She has a sordid past but has cleaned her life up. She is trying to take off weight by using a treadmill at the gym. She has some issues with the machine. When a gorgeous firefighter comes through the door her eyes lock on his and she ends up head over heels (literally) at the end of the treadmill.

Firefighter Slade Powers is a new guy, so he is on probation. Ex-military, he isn't used to being low man on the team. He spots the beautiful girl and is fascinated by her smile. He gave his heart away years ago and she returned it with a Dear John letter, Now the heart is useless and unable to love but he is intrigued by that smile.

A delightful journey between two broken hearts to find rescue and restoration. God has a plan for these two, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him move even in this time of evil and chaos.
